Omg please give us new maps for pvp
What's so hard about make new maps or just put the old ones from d1 in d2? Please give some attention for the pvp

2023 Already stated for this year that it is 1 new map. Many agree with you, but not happening this year.

3 RepliesWith so many other problems why concentrate on maps? Balance for one is nothing more than a dumpster full of used tires engulfed in a raging fire with shotgun and hand cannon shells being set off in all directions.

Destiny is a game where devs focus 95% of their energy on end game content, 4% on PvP, and 1% on Gambit. The only reason I see to complain about maps is either people do not know how to utilize map awareness, or they're bored of it. If the latter, I can understand, but for those of us who go back to the days of CS, or Quake - it would take years for new maps to come out, if ever at all

There are so many D1 maps that I miss, we even have a ton of D2 maps that have been sunset for ages! Anyone remember that calus map? Or that edz map with the 2 cannons? All those maps need to come back and no map should ever be sunset again.

2 RepliesDon't worry they had a much needed fix for worldline zero instead. Gambit focusing, Hell, xur and all amror drops in the game have been screwed up for a month and nothing. They address worldline zero. Point is they seem to selectively focus only on what they want to and it doesn't to me seem like pvp, let alone maps is one of them. Hell i don't even want old stale d1 maps. I played those. I want all new maps. Plus all the maps they bring back are crap. Anomoly? convergence? Twilight gap? They can all go. They didn't even do the one thing people requested with cauldron, remove the doors. Watch, be they bring back that crap spawn trappy Blind Watch.

I knew when people cried about Luna howl, not forgotten and other weapons that they’d remove them eventually and then kill another pvp thing and it happened. They never touched it since outside of trials. That’s what happens when people complain about not being good enough to get certain weapons. Or pve mains who go in crucible especially iron banner and get demolished by these weapons they come on here and complain about them until they’re are removed.

13 RepliesWe've been begging for this for almost one THOUSAND days now. They have abandoned pvp for years now. And that will not change. Even if we get a new map in one of the following seasons. Won't change the fact we lost 11 maps due to the dumb and scummy DCV (gotten 2 back from that now). So still a minus of 9 maps. One new one doesn't change anything. They are working on a new (pvp) game. That's why this games pvp mode will never see any deserved attention anymore. Ever. It's just some PR moves to not look too scummy when they promise some more pvp attention. (Look what their gambit "focus" this season got us.) Laughable company.

It would be a cost effective way to design both maps. I realize it's easier said than programmed, but there is always a way. It would make PvP more approachable for PvE players( Increasing play time ) when you know your environment. PvE players would naturally learn the maps, have better map & radar awareness which I think is a foundational skill to stand a chance in PvP. Also I think it be an new & interesting environment for PvE, since most PvE events are very linear, just a straight path forward etc...

1 ReplyStop giving bungie money if a game mode you like is neglected. Since forsaken I think most can agree content has been taking a massive dip. Everyone made excuses year after year and this release was ok compared to the past two years. My point is during these awful times most people I knew who endured did so because I pvp was a reliable game mode. However but by bit almost every single person who stuck around for pvp has moved on. It took me a long time to understand why but I’m hindsight it makes perfect sense. Bungie couldn’t be clearer that pvp matters little to them. Nothing anybody says or hopes for matters. The hard fact is bungie mustered all they had to make an ok pve and modes like gambit and crucible may never be address. I know it’s hard to overcome sunken cost but until people stop paying for something that’s a let down there is no incentive for bungie to appease you.

it just would be nice, they don't have to balance it, just cut up a piece from a raid. Like Deep Stone Crypts Atrak-1 encounter, including the elevators and sniper distant shooting.
