The Red war and content vault
Hello bungie, I haven’t played destiny 2 in a while due to concentrating in my studies during high school, (last played during forsaken release) due to this I missed news about the content vault. I am quite distressed about logging back in to a missing 5 planets or so and restart at level 1. I had paid for this special edition of destiny 2 which included this bag and eventually got a season pass which amount to roughly over 400AUD only to find out that none of these things I had bought existed anymore. You must understand how (at very least) irritating it is to log back in and have to essentially pay for the game AGAIN just to play the missions not to mention saddening that I cannot play warmind, Osiris and red war anymore and soon forsaken. It was a lot to pay for this game at my age and I hope you can do anything at all to reimburse me for what is essentially something that [u]feels[/u] like theft. Because otherwise I feel no real reason to continue playing destiny as a [b]subscription program [/b]which I never wanted part of. I also understand your use of content vault, but this is really nothing but jargon for removing content from the game indefinitely except for vanguard missions and whatnot, but not story missions.

They’re not going to reimburse somebody who’s been absent from the game for three years on the off chance they might spend money again on their services. They won’t do it even if there was a guarantee you’d buy Witch Queen. If you don’t like Destiny’s subscription like model they’re not going to change it just for you either. Does it suck the content is gone for now? Yes. Personally I’m not too bothered by it, but I understand that a desire to replay those story threads exists in people. But Destiny is what it is now. And it doesn’t sound like it’s in a model and format you want. Best to enjoy the memories of what you had and move on.

1 ReplyI don’t see red war, Osiris or warmind returning in the foreseeable future. Maybe the planets in some capacity. (If bungie can properly optimize all those destinations) Best of luck on the reimbursement since a lot of the year 1 content was made f2p (free to play) during season of arrivals.

3 RepliesHi there. The base game no longer costs anything to play. Since the release of Shadowkeep, D2 was made free to play on all platforms. OnlyDLC expansions and season passes cost money, and are each optional. The Destiny Content Vault is intended to be temporary changes. You will see both D1 and vaulted D2 content return in the future as content is cycled in and out of the DCV each year. This was necessary for the health and performance of the game for all players as well as improving Bungie's ability to produce new content and fix bugs. You can learn more about how the DCV works and the reasons why it was needed here: https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/49189 If you wish to seek a refund on your past purchase, you would need to contact the platform you purchased from, but it's unlikely you qualify for a refund after having waited several years.

3 RepliesRead TOS, You Agreed to this when you clicked "Agree". Bungie won't Reimburse you for anything since you Don't Own the Content. You owned a License. And the Licenses have/ are Expired. Better start Reading Contract's.
