Crucible matchmaking and lobby balancing is beyond terrible.
I mean, it’s absolute hot garbage. The worst of the worst. A room full of trained chickens could make a better matchmaking engine by pecking out random code. Whoever the devs are that designed the current system should never be allowed to code for anything more complicated than a Casio solar-powered calculator.
Stomps are way too common. Teams are rarely balanced in any PvP game mode. I regularly have to carry a team of 6, where 4 of the players don’t even have 1.0 efficiencies.
It’s awful. Stop dicking around with Trials and put your attention towards the larger game mode already.

How many days has it been witnout a new pvp map? Yep... that answers everything. They dont give a single F about pvp, let alone lobby balancing...

Lack of SBMM because people cried that it was to sweaty or they couldn’t get enough kills. So they made matching base more off connection then skill.

4 RepliesBungie's idea of lobby balancing: Team A: 2 top 500 players and 4 bronze elo blueberries Team B: 6 gold elo decent players Obvious result: The top 500 players destroy the other team, but since the overall skill of the teams is similar, Bungie thinks it is a balanced match. If you're a good player, you're usually forced to carry bad players against a team of decent players. If you're a bad player, you have almost zero influence on the result of the match since you're either getting carried or destroyed. If you're in the middle, you might have a balanced match, maybe, but probably not.

Bungie's main goal is to rig matches for you to go 9-0. That's what adjusting matchmaking algorithm's is: Rigging.

8 RepliesBungie has investors whom own stake in the company. These investors own paid carry services. The matchmaking is designed to assist the paid carry teams with easy opponents to make profits faster. The matchmaking pushes players towards buying the services. Working as designed.

You'll often see them (Bungie employees) going in and kicking obvious cheaters whereas the rest of us have to suffer and deal with them. Let's face it, love you balance will never be on their radar. Not unless one of their pet trials boy says something about it, if that doesn't happen, it ain't going to.

Arena shooters are back, cod space magic 2014 is stale and most gamers realize how noobie destiny pvp is with all the special weapon corn ball users. Deal with the trash matchmaking or be like most gamers and stop playing destiny pvp until bungie gets over their depression and decide to take pride in their work again

4 RepliesIt is because the PvP team is struggling. Just wait until Tuesday, shotguns and hand cannons will truly rule. They have been meta for years and with ability nerfs it will be all we see. This group does not realize that there are other weapons and play styles.

They pulled out all the manpower from this game and moved them to their other IPs they are currently working. This is what's working on our game now. They're already doing this now.👍

Brother you are 100% right, and will be attacked for it. Like many of the other truth tellers in this world.(not a weapon pun) If you are a decent solo player, matchmaking will take liberties with your time and patience. Happens to me all the time, you're not alone.

It can be a laugh though can’t it. Lets’s be honest, -blam!-**t as whatever it is that throws us all together it can really be quite a good crack at times. Else why would we all still be here? I actually do have a life (pretty busy the last two years thanks to a nasty little virus) and I do play other games. 🤘

Can certainly say matches are trending to be even more unbalanced and less playable. Are games that end in double, triple or quadruple score really fun for anyone?
