So I ran 101 matches, and lost 86 of them. I am a solo player and about 80% of the games were agains strong teams using adept weapons and revenant hunters.
Something for Bungie to understand:
1. The new super building technique changing from passive to damage is going to increase the gap between ordinary players and strong teams. It is typical that when playing against these strong teams, my team does not deal much damage at all despite the fact that we shoot back (lag or whaterver, do not know). There were several rounds in which my team did absolutely 0 damage against the strong team.
2. Revenant hunter with stompees and shatterdive is really OP and mostly used in the teams. Every team has minimum 1, but it is quite common to see 2 or 3. Where is diversity? Silence and Squall is the most powerful super and it lasts forever on a small map like twilight gap. Why put it in tier 4 in the future system (second fastest regen)? It will just be more frequenty used super and there is not going to be any diversity at all.
3. About 10 - 15% of the strong teams are really disrespectful. Teabagging and shooting violently on the orb. Nothing social about that. However, it is good to note that 85% are respectful.
4. Loosing 85% of games is not an uplifting experience, but the fact that most of the games are so one sided that you do not even get to play makes it outright depressing.
5. Looking forward to freelance. It was so far the best.

Tral question should be why is all hell are yoy being matched against teams that cause you to have 0 damage????

1 ReplyI'll go down the list one at a time. 1. Taking damage also charges your super, this is a moot point. 2. Shatterdive has been nerfed (or is going to be) and is (or will be) only good if you completely dedicate a build to it, at which point, it should be good, as any ability with a build dedicated to it should be. As for the super, silence and squall is bad. It's bad against other supers as they'll break out of the ice near instantly, and they'll outrun the tornado. Anyone should be able to avoid the tornado as long as they're not hit with it, which if they were, any other solo super would've killed you there. 3. Welcome to trials. Taking things like that seriously is only a detriment. 4. I'm going to be very blunt here. This is a skill and lack of team issue. Bungie directly stated that solo being enabled didn't mean they'd hand out wins. If you aren't good enough to solo, that's how it is. You need a team. 5. 99% of the people I see with this sentiment either don't play trials, are bad at trials, or only play solo.

Here’s a few tips: Make friends Keep playing better players to improve yourself If you care so much about people bagging, that’s the reason they do it. It’s literally a way to get you heated so you end up losing. Trust me, bag them back. Someone like you bagging top players will make them mess up.

A few things and I dont mean any disrespect • throwing out percentages means nothing when they are just made up • playing solo decreases ones chances of winning (you’d have to be able to reliably carry your team to expect to win as a solo)

Freelance is the only thing I agree with.

Edited by Rufas-1: 11/29/2021 10:13:39 PMFYI... Your 1st point is not valid as the super energy is supposed to be the same wether you are dealing or TAKING damage. Also, Silence and Squall is not really all that great. Once glacier grenades are nerfed the only reason to use Revenant Hunter will be to use the grenades as cover or block a revive.

2 RepliesEdited by DHawk12: 11/29/2021 9:04:11 PMIn all honesty, the bottom 10-15% shouldnt be able to ever go flawless aside from a carry. But i do think adepts should be attainable somehow for people who cant reach the lighthouse.

Edited by Interpol89: 11/29/2021 9:52:06 PMIf you’re in the bottom 15%, you’re gonna have a rough time. At least find a team, because you will play better if you can communicate with each other.

1 ReplyTrials has bled out nearly ALL solo’s, casuals, and low tier players. They aren’t going to be back until next season, when 1 or 2 weapons come out. They’ll be gone again in about 4 weeks since it’s so easy to farm engrams though. Freelance this week will only attract so many more players. It won’t be enough to sustain the entire playlist for long term. Then again, I’ve never played trials, so… what do I know?
-
What would you think if someone told you that a lot of those teams aren't really even all that good?
-
1 ReplyHonest question, after those 101 games, do you feel your skill level improved? Because apparently you get better the more you play even if you are going against 3 stacks who live and breath trials.
-
What experience do you expect when you try to play a game that you acknowledge you are bad at?
-
When you’re near the bottom percentile of players, yeah, most games are probably gonna feel pretty one-sided.
-
Same trials complaints by the same type of player.

I feel like 85% teabag and shoot my orb. Just be careful not to destroy my ghost.
