Overload champions have always been an issue. They’re incredibly erratic, teleporting from place to place. Not only that, but there’s also a slight delay when they recover from the stun, making it look like that can be stunned but that’s not the case. The issue I’m having is in the Perdition Legend Lost sector, the Overload Minotaurs don’t stay stunned. In fact, after stunning them with a bow, they get up from their stun phase and can’t be stunned again. I’ve tried shooting them right after, nothing. I’ve tried waiting a while and then trying to stun and nothing. These specific kinds of champions have been a problem since they came out and every season I’m really irritated to see they haven’t been fixed.

1 ReplyLiterally just use an overload mod. I have never had an issue with them.

Never really struggled much with overloads, I see them as a 1 chance type enemy where if you -blam!- up the damage and don’t kill them in one stun, you have to (usually) get out of cover to keep them from healing again. Le monarque also helps. I don’t think I spelled it right but whatever

The only weapons Ive seen work against Overloads very well are Le Monarque and Divinity. Also Fatebringer with EP but thats gone now

The sword mod doesn't work well enough. Especially if the overload is teleporting every where.

1 ReplyHad the same issue in that Lost Sector using both solar and stasis melee stun: overload stuns but doesn’t disrupt. One tanked my super and 7 rockets while stunned.

Those large red-bar freaks that turn up with the sticky-out laser light show feathers, like demented headless chickens, they were the trickiest bit!
-
Le monarche keeps them perma stunned

Like toddlers on crack. Just want to grab em, look em in the eye and whisper "stay the -blam!- still" Then the overload crack toddler teleports 15 feet away and kills me with his arc bullshit gun.

One thing i know about Overload Minotaurs is they would ignore their stun if you hit the enemy with your charged up Bow and they teleported at the right time while they’re ready to be stunned. It happens very rarely but it can be frustrating. Also, Overloads, like unstoppables Champions have a cooldown before you can stun them again unlike Barriers. Chieftains have the shortest one making them the easiest to counter.

Maybe they could just remove overload captains and we’d all be happy
