This week's changes are absolutely garbage. What ever they did nobody likes it. The numbers speak for themselves. Down 50% players base and only about 62000 people playing this garbage. All you get is sweats. Last weekend was fun, the weekend before even better. Why try and fix the game mode when it wasn't broken. This capping the point garbage is exactly that....... GARBAGE!!!! This along with making the community pay for -blam!- they already have is killing the game. Bungie should change their motto to captain planets: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Its all they are good at. Hey bungie your TRASH AT CONTENT CREATION

Agree on last weekend, but the first weekend was only good on Friday, after that it was just horrible, and it was getting worse and worse as a solo

Freelance could have alleviated that though which is coming next month. Bungie is trying to over perfect Trials and it's going to starting hurting the game mode again. Week 1 was such a huge success as a whole, sure it was bad for solo players but that was just going to be the case when adding it what was always a 3 stack game mode. Solo queue was only added to allow more people to play solo if they wanted to, but it was still meant to be played with a fireteam. Week 1 but with a freelance option would probably be the way to go.

I’m only saying freelance is bad because it splits the player base. I’m not trying to jump on the Datto’s always right wagon, but he made a really good point about it
-
What was dattos take? haven't seen that video
-
He basically said trials is doing good because it’s populated, solo queue would split the population, splitting population isn’t good
-
yes, but a split playerbase is still people playing the game, versus people quitting the playlist and not playing it because they are getting destroyed by premades. So which one is better?

What @IronHatchett said. Freelance won't do what everyone things. Freelance is necessary in a 6v6 mode like Iron Banner, but trials has always been intended to be for teams, it's a heavily team work and communication based mode. I'm glad solos are getting a chance, but the mode is designed for teams, so I'm not personally bothered that solos are having a good time in a mode that prioritizes teamwork
-
Oh yeah, well that's just common sense too. Freelance isn't going to do what everyone thinks it will
