It could for all i care, doesn't change the fact that Vex has this -blam!- ton of kills this weekend at trials, the second place doesn't have half the kills, that's because vex it's just your regular joe at crucible with this many kills on a WEEKEND.

  • Okay. Then lets nerf Felwinters....AGAIN...since its outperforming the next best energy weapon in Survival by 2 or 3 to 1. YOu do realize that this way of thinking is a treadmill, and a one-way ticket to the MASSIVE power-drain that nearly killed the game in vanilla D2? Because there will always be a meta...and if what ever is meta is "OP" by definition...then you will be this CONSTANT downward pressure...and we'll eventually be getting into pillowfights and have a TTK that is 5 seconds.

  • You just can't fight the fact that this gun broke all records of kills on a weekend, look you gotta see the whole picture, you think it's unfair because you have this gun, how many guns that other people loved was nerfed for the same reason? It hurts more because you're using it? The same way HC'S meta wasn't healthy and dominate for years, doesn't mean you can have vex do the same, HC'S at least almost everybody could use it, now you have a gun that it's locked behind Pve End content, fine by me, but if they lock a gun behind crucible you don't complain, but I'm pretty sure i Remenber you making comments about not forgotten was unfair because of being locked behind crucible, as a vet player as well i thought you could see the whole picture, not your own belly.

  • I don’t have to. I don’t have to disprove a flawed supposition. Just show that it’s flawed. Vex is seeing use because it changes the flow of play and forces people to adapt. Too many players have gotten used to crutching on everything that isn’t a hand cannon being underpowered, and being able to ape at people with shotguns inside of HC range. Vex is putting a stop to that hyper aggressive play.! The problem is many of you don’t know how to play any other way…. ….or think you should never have to.

Actually quite correct. I’ve spent the last two weeks playing with it. It’s not some magical “I win” button. If I make a mistake and stumble into a 2v1… odds are I’m going to die. If I’m too aggressive and get into the front end of HC range, I’ll die to shotgun rushers. I routinely get outdueled by weapons like AoS and The Messenger. In fact a good Messenger player is extremely difficult to kill with a VM because he can two burst you. Vex is strong because it does a few things well. 1. It forces HC users to play smart. If you Wade into a gunfight when you’re weak or you make a mistake, I’ll put you down. 2. If you try to run at me with a shotgun at mid-range? I can stand my ground and kill you on the way in. 3. If you lose situational awareness, and I catch you flat footed? I’ll put you down before you can get away. IOW the weapon pushes players for bad habits that a forever hand cannon/shotgun meta lets people develop and get away with. So it’s a good choice for a playlist dominated by hand cannons.
1. It forces HC users to play smart. If you Wade into a gunfight when you’re weak or you make a mistake, I’ll put you down.
The Map is too small for that, even playing carefully bad respawns will put you in this situation.
2. If you try to run at me with a shotgun at mid-range? I can stand my ground and kill you on the way in.
I can do the same with my Messenger, not a problem, if blueberries try to run at you with a shotgun like a vandal it's not my problem.
3. If you lose situational awareness, and I catch you flat footed? I’ll put you down before you can get away.
That's not a loss of situational awareness, that's called bad map design, were playing 6x6 on a map that is for 3x3, plus the game at this moment punishes you the longer you stay alive, i lost the count of the times i was holding my ground, and the game didn't respect that, spawning all the enemy team behind me.
