So a friend of mine recently got an xbox series x and upgraded destiny 2 and when he tried to play on his xbox one, he would get error code toad. He has already tried hard resetting the console, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, switching to another game and then switching back, checking internet connection (which works fine), etc. Is he getting the error code because he upgraded his game on the series x and the xbox one can't play on the upgraded game? Please let me know if that is the case because he has tried nearly everything to fix this.
