Yes! Do it! Play some other game! Tbh quitting destiny was very good for my mental sake and now I actually have fun playing other video games now instead of being stressed with grinding for all the new loot and stuff. Play any other game, whether it be valorant, apex legends, or some other thing. But if you are somehow having fun, then you keep playing. I feel like this game will eventually die out, and it will be slow and painful. Which isn't necessarily good, but it's what will happened. I would still be playing this game if it weren't for the sunsetting destinations, activities, and loot.
Just ask yourself, am I really having fun playing Destiny? I mainly want to bring this to people's attentions because it took me a while before I realized that the game just wasn't fun for me any more, and I don't want other people to go through that. Anyway good luck finding another game, or if you're for some reason having fun (which I really don't think is possible in this game) then keep playing I guess.

Video games aren’t relationships. You don’t have to be dedicated to just one. Actually if anything having a handful of games to rotate and play makes all the games you play more refreshing and enjoyable.

You got to realize that at least. Do it like normal people do, and just move on. Others will quit when they want, or continue to play if they want. It’s just a video game. Hopefully you find enjoyment in your next game!
