Matchmaking is a joke?
Why do you refuse to fix matchmaking, that is where the teams are BALANCED. The formula, software, A.I., 2 potatoes and some tinfoil?? WTFE make it opposite of what you are using. Jezzzus plz do something different. Make the game a little bit better??

Team balancing just doesn’t work. It’s always 1-2 good players having to carry 4-5 toddlers against a team of mediocre players which is not always possible.

2 RepliesI have no idea how the matchmaking works, but I can count the amount of times a game of crucible feels actually fair and balanced on one hand. 95% it is one team having 80 points already while the other has like 10. I'm bad at pvp, I do it for pinnacles, bounties and loot that is unfortunately locked behind trials and IB, but losing in a fair battle would at least make new or casual players feel like they could have a chance if they practiced and improved. But die, make two steps, die again, it's just frustrating and disencouraging and makes anyone except toxic sweatheads hate crucible (which personally I think has way too much space in a game that should actually give me epic lore, not fortnite style shotgun sliders

Yes please, I'm trash at PVP but when I'm matched against similar stats I do pretty decent but lately it's my trash butt against max level sweats

1 ReplyFor anyone who is interested how match making works, It’s been tested if your solo queue it will force a 50% w/l on you (not including fireteams that bypass this) This was tested over 150 matches

The PvP of this game will always sort of be the -blam!- child that doesn’t get enough attention and since they are continually adding new things every season they will never catch up. It will never be balanced. At this point it hardly seems worth taking it seriously anymore. They should just open it up, have large maps, and make it drop in/drop out large teams with no real victory conditions as a place for players to farm kills. The idea that this game is it even could ever be legitimately competitive and work for as a small teams FPS game is laughable.

1 ReplyTeams will never be balanced........even if Bungie were to cater it to the wrong group (solos - I'm sorry but if you choose to be a solo you have to accept 1 fact, Bungie will never seriously cater to you). CBMM..........surrrrrrrrre where is the connection based in that? CBMM would work if it did as it was intended to. But like SBMM it doesn't do what it states. So we're screwed either way because Bungie can't get either system to function as it should. Let's not even begin to talk about their non existent anti cheat. But hey it's easier to blame the people good at the game / streaming the game.......than it is to hold Bungie accountable for their awful work.

7 RepliesMore people played and enjoyed pvp when we had SBMM. They should turn it back on, but the sweaties get mad they don’t get matched against players with KDs five times lower than themselves for their montage videos. Bungie pvp caters to the 1%. See trials...

1 ReplyOutside of ranked Survival, there is no Matchmaking, it just picks randomly based on connection distance. If you want a balanced PvP experience, play the ranked Survival Mode.
