Guardian Games: Hunters will win because of last year's problem.
I didn't care about this event last year and only wanted the exotic LMG. I don't care about this event this year and only wanted the catalyst for the LMG. However, the more toxic side of Hunters are throwing major trash. Yes, you will most likely win this year due to the amount of Hunters there are. Bungie was on the right track by adding bonus points to the team in last but by the time Warlocks or Titans gain a big enough bonus to matter, Hunters will have won enough days overall to secure the final victory. At this point, the bonus points are for Warlocks and Titans to fight over second place. You were close Bungie, just not close enough.

But like, does it really matter? GG didn't make any of the classes more toxic, they're all just as equally toxic. No matter who wins, it doesn't change anything, you get to look at a shiny snake this time instead of a lion. Bad event, only log in to see who's winning.

3 RepliesI think you're going to see a big drop off in participation. The rewards are pap, so once the triumphs are done there's no reason to continue getting medals. Even the weekend glow is busted and didn't work properly. I'm not going to keep getting medals for any class when all I get is a blue, a random legendary, ooh, an enhancement core (if I'm super lucky! Gee thanks! *Flicks core onto the pile of about 6500 in the inventory*) and some glimmer or planetary mats. This whole event, is bad. Yet again. There's no real competition to it, and even if there were, very few people give a shit about competing.

Honestly I don't even believe that this event is real. There's no way for the players to see their actions actually do anything, so for all we know bungie could just have a set result that they show each day. Kind of like all those world events that we couldn't fail.

Guardian Games is trash, anyways. Revelry would have been a lot better except for the fact that it once broke Crucible for three weeks with the insane builds.

Honestly...why faction rallies were better. It had NOTHING to do with anything other than “yeah, I dig that color scheme” or “Man, that hand cannon looks cool” Hunters are the favorite class of Destiny. Just are. Always have been. Probably always will be. It will go like this forever.

You can't look at the history of this event and say it isn't rigged. Last year, Titans won nearly every day, now Hunters are winning every day? Earlier this week I logged in immediately after the Daily Reset, the Titan and Warlock flags were at the neutral position, where the should have been on reset. But the Hunter flag was all the way at the top of the pole. This event is rigged hard.

3 RepliesI just find incredibly stupid how Bungie affirmed in the Guardian Games TWAB that they did the math and the 10% bonus points would have granted a [i]"more competitive"[/i] challange and [i]"allowed every Class the chance to win"[/i] when it's clear that even with that 10% Bonus Warlocks and Titans have no chance of winning because Hunters are simply too many. Well done, Bungie. Well done...

Why they don't base results on the combined highest average contribution per class per capita is beyond me. You have one class with far greater popularity and instead of using simple average contribution they're trying to tweak the results to vaguely account for the discrepancy. I play all three and don't care what 'wins' but we all know the system is completely broken when only one class wins everyday.

3 RepliesHunters will win because they have the best looking ornament so everyone switches to their hunter, it’s not a huge deal, what does the winner even get? A pretend statue in the tower? You can get rewards on all your characters anyway.

2 RepliesAs a Hunter main, I really want Warlocks win. But if the get at least second then I’ll be fine with that. I only play for a couple hours a night and only really do the plat medal because it’s so easy to do. Other than that I’m grinding bounties until I hit the max season rank.
