Does anyone like the grainy but partially glossy quality of late 90s-late 2000s movies and TV shows?
Now I like very clear quality, but only to some extent, but it's a very nostalgic quality for me. Honestly felt more gritty and realistic compared to some overly saturated quality of today's.

I am a fan of how 90s TV shows/movies got to be dark whilst still being realistic and watchable. Nowadays everything has to be so gritty it’s over the top and be just a black screen with some vague shapes floating about that you aren’t quite sure is actually happening on screen or just a reflection from something in the room.
