Yes I've raided, don't jump into conclusions.
And yes, I advocate for optional matchmaking because it hurts no one but the ones who eventually decide to use it and even then, the vast majority will be able to learn and adapt to be better and understand what's needed to raid.
Assuming that they won't (as you clearly do) is why I said you're calling other players dumb (as you're still doing in this last reply of yours).

Edited by CookieNiki: 4/9/2021 8:34:41 PMWhile I don't care what you think you know about me by checking a random website, I raided in D1. Destiny wasn't born in 2017. And my previous reply wasn't to you either.

And in all of your successful completions, you have the most number of deaths. You were pretty much carried through every raid. Regardless of whether or not the reply was to me, you still posted this on a public forum where anyone is allowed to reply.
You completed six raids in D1.
And that means what? That I've raided or not? Ask for help if you're unable to reach an answer.

You were pretty much carried through the raids. Also, this is the D2 section of the forum. We’re talking about D2, not D1. And in D2, you have never raided.

Wrong again. We're not even talking about raids, be them D1 or D2, we're talking about matchmaking in raids, something that has been discussed since D1. That said, yes, I've raided before, as I told in my reply to the other player. Moving on.

We're not even talking about raids, be them D1 or D2, we're talking about matchmaking in raids, something that has been discussed since D1.
This thread is about matchmaking in all activities, including raids, so this topic is still relevant. Also, if this was a topic that has been discussed since D1, and it has not been implemented, there must be a good reason. Matchmaking in higher-difficulty NF's is an awful idea, but the current matchmaking for lower-difficulty NF's is fine. There's a reason why there is no MM for Master and Grandmaster nightfalls. 1. Locked loadouts. People tend to be unprepared when they MM for the 1270's, and they join without any useful mods. In 1270's, MM makes sense because you can still change your loadout once you enter the NF's. In Master and Grandmaster, your loadout is locked so you can't change anything. Entering with a pre-made fireteam makes more sense for the higher difficulty activities. 2. Requires more coordination than lower-difficulty nightfalls. Matchmaking for raids is also an awful idea. I've been checking the stats of players that are advocating for in-game MM for raids, and the one thing I've found in common between all of these players is that they all have ZERO CLEARS. That gives you an idea of what kind of people will be using in-game MM if it's ever a thing. You will have a bunch of inexperienced players MM for a raid because the more experienced players will continue to use LFG to form their raid groups. Just take a look at Guided Games. They're specifically designed for people like you with zero raid clears, and it's pretty much dead now. In-game MM would most likely suffer the same fate. LFG exists. Sherpas exist. And they're available whenever you feel like raiding. You can even join a clan and raid with clanmates. You don't need an in-game MM system to raid. It's more convenient, but if you had any desire to raid, you should at least have some attempts under your belt. However, you have none at all. I get it though, you and people like you just want in-game MM so you can get carried through the raid.
That said, yes, I've raided before, as I told in my reply to the other player.
You've spent more time dying and spectating other players than you have actually playing the raids in D1, so that's debatable.
