I’m going to make this quick:
Jotunn needs to go in the heavy/power weapon slot. I ran into a group of sweats/clan and one player was using Jotunn like that was their only weapon and got a 10.0 KD. That’s a little sad and appalling that crucible hasn’t been as skilled as SBMM.
Relax, it’s feedback, not a conversation starter or debate.

No. There is no reason why it needs to be changed. The game gives you plenty of warnings before the enemy fires.

Edited by TJayDub: 10/17/2020 4:05:06 PMKeep moving and jotunn won't hit you Also can everyone stop over exaggerating when things happen to them . No went 10KD in your recent play session. One player did well but didn't use jotunn at all

This is a joke, right?

1 ReplyMove mountain top to the heavy slot too.

4 RepliesMove around, Jötunn would be literally useless as a power weapon. Not the guy using it's fault your team plays this game like it's CoD Ghosts lol. You have summoned me.

1 ReplyGuess you don’t know how to move and shoot at the same time. I can sidestep it easily or I can hide behind a wall so it won’t kill me then I get an easy kill

7 RepliesEdited by piratepatchy243: 10/17/2020 8:16:38 AMFusion rifles are universally hated by sweats, and competent users would appreciate the consistency of others like Erentil and Main Ingredient. It's the worst of high impact frames and it's tracking is garbage, only good against potato players and would be a worthless power weapon. Nerf post are rarely feedback or accurate, and yours fails exactly on those.

I agree Jotunn needs a catalyst

Well I like Jotunn and it is a fantastic guardian dispatcher. Potato friendly and infinite range. The tracking on my Jotunn doesn't miss very often and if it does it is because they have seeked shelter. Jumping will not evade Jotunn, you have to find a barrier to stop it. Once it locks on it is a shadow! In Comp most of the really good players (Not me), have one and sometimes the whole bloody team has one. That is no fun at all. Having it in the Energy slot is exactly where it needs to be.

2 RepliesNo! Go to the tribute hall and shoot an ogre with 1000 voices, then shoot the same ogre with Jotuun. Reality check dude, Jotuun does 1/10th the damage and has no business being in the heavy slot next to a real heavy weapon.
mountaintop does more damage than Jotuun shot for shot
1 ReplyNot gonna happen. If somebody gets a 10.0 with it then the team they were playing has no sense of their surroundings. 🤷🏻♂️

1 ReplyYou need to be a power weapon.

1 ReplyJotunn is fine where it’s at... except I think the AOE damage could potentially be reduced slightly in PvP. Even if you successfully dodge a Jotunn shot (which is fairly easy to dodge) the area of effect damage can still do considerable damage against a guardian. I think since it does have tracking and infinite range, the only thing, if anything, that I would tune would be the AOE damage. But I think it’s fine where it’s at right now. The problem is that this weapon is not very powerful in general. The tracking is not the best. It’s not that good in PvE anymore. It’s an exotic and exotics should be somewhat powerful. It does not need to be moved to the heavy slot. We already have 1K Voices for that. It’s the same reason why Telesto is no longer a heavy weapon since Forsaken. They are fine the way they are.

2 RepliesJotunn has poor handling, a slow charge time, a slow reload speed and a unique firing noise. There's plenty of opportunity to identify and evade the weapon. If someone got a 10.0 KD with Jotunn, it's not because of the gun. It's you.
