The solstice armor is not worth all that you are requiring to get it, especially the trials part. So screw you. Sell the game to people who have creative thinking skills, you do not.

Then don't do it? The magnificent armor itself is awesome, open some boxes and enjoy your 65+ stat armor. All trials gives you is a white glow for your legs.
Sell the game to people who have creative thinking skills, you do not.
Ok dude, have you ever played a raid? Any of the newer strikes? Used any of the newer season pass exotics? Just because you don't like something doesn't give you the right of passage to bash on their creativity skills, which are more than great.

Yeap, game still sux 👍🏽👍🏽

1 ReplyBungie: We brought back trials for streamers and try hards but weve noticed streamers are always playing same people so were making you play this to benefit them if you want to fully complete the armor
-
Honestly, I’m on board with it except for the Trials. Every other objective is pretty reasonable (with friends, at least), and nets you its own rewards too. The only standout is the 10 Gambit matches, but at least that’s just competing them, not winning. Trials wins, though...that’s just suffering.
The solstice armor is not worth all that you are requiring to get it, especially the trials part. So screw you. Sell the game to people who have creative thinking skills, you do not.
With respect, getting the actual armour itself is okay - i ran it on 4 characters this week. The issue is the White Glow which requires Trials - I personally do not think it should but end of day, it is cosmetic and even then, its just a white glow. Not having it is not going to impact the armour. I do though, get your frustration - Bungie has had all year to do something different with Solstice but yet, here we are....

Lol you felt the need to make a thread about this? Just stop playing and leave it at that. You don't have to cry to the world that you're done

1 ReplyWhether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
-
Or you could just not do it and just use exotic legs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
2 RepliesI don’t want to play gambit. But if I want the glow. I’ll chip at it over a week or 2 or 3
-
1 ReplyThen don't do all the steps. You said so yourself, the armor isn't worth doing. You only need to get one armor piece glowing for the Title. Just run a quick Nightmare Hunt for the Gauntlets, and you'll be done in five minutes. You don't even have to do it on Master Difficulty.
-
3 RepliesIt’s just a white glow, not even worth the hassle.
-
4 RepliesThe game's free there, boss. Bye
-
Don’t feel pressured to do it if you don’t want to. Problem solved.
Sorry, all out of salt.
-
The trials thing isn't a big deal and the armor is meant to be completed (in a perfect world) over the course of the event, it only looks bad if you try to do it all at once.
-
I love people coming to there senses and finally doing it. They realize the game is much easier if you just do it and stop complaining.
-
It really wasn't that bad to get, even all three sets because of the multipliers. And because the objectives for the glows are only required on one character to unlock for the others, you don't have to do 7 wins on each character. I'm a mediocre PvPer. Trails wasn't terrible.

1 ReplyEdited by SteakBarbare92: 8/18/2020 3:39:29 AMTrial wins is the hardest part. Everything else is easy. Even if I hate trials I still think it's possible to achieve. You just won't get those win in a matters of a few minutes that's all.
-
1 ReplyManofSteel you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. 1) ALWAYS blame Luke "One Trick Pony" Smith 2) there are people on LFG volunteering to do guaranteed carries for free 3) Worse case scenario, join a clan with people who enjoy Trials, and willing to help you get the 7 wins over the next 3+ weeks.

Lol so don’t do it Karen

4 RepliesWho can buy destiny and make it better? When are you making the next destiny killer? I'd love to play it.

Buy glow from eververse and wait for exotic traveler choice for MMXX seal

7 RepliesManaged to do it in 2 days, full completion. Trials was a breeze. LFGed and got flawless within one card. Also managed to do the Master NF without a problem while being 20 under recommended. Its not bad at all
