My friend brought up the idea of super difficult nightfall strike playlist, but your powers regenerate like in the mayhem crucible mode.
Supers would be the primary way to push forward.
(Because enemies are that tough)
Just add some spice to the game.

Destiny 1 has mayhem nightfalls called "daybreak" strikes. That would be cool in D2.

While that is a cool concept, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.

1 Replyif you want mayhem in pve go and play borderlands 3
-
4 RepliesThey should bring back Daybreak, Small Arms, and Specialist as well as bring back actual burns instead of these weak synges.
-
So basically bring back the Daybreak mod from D1 NFS? Heck ya
-
6 RepliesI've been thinking about grandmasters being turned into the PvE version of trials. Do 2 without wiping get a weekly rotating weapon or armor piece, do 4 without wiping get a weekly rotating weapon or armor piece, do all 6 without wiping get a weekly rotating weapon or armor piece along with an "adept" version of weapons or armor that helps you in all aspects of PvE.. like maybe a perk where adds are less aggressive towards you kind of like the sotp sparrow things of that nature.

1 ReplyWoah your asking to much hahaha that requires actually doing work
-
3 RepliesCan we also have an ACTUAL horde mode? Ya know? Like, unlimited waves of ads increasing in number and getting tougher? I would play that all day just because of how good it feels to shoot stuff in this game. Could insert areas around the map to get upgrades for your team or add defenses and such. Your only objective? Survive. No, "defend this thingy", no "charge this thingy then go to the next". Man, why does the community think of better ideas for this game than the freaking developers? Mayhem strikes would be so epic, though, I've been begging for that for sooooo long. Just, please, Bungie, do something to shake up the boring grind. Mayhem Gambit, even, just balls to walls.
-
3 RepliesIt was a thing back in D1. Strike modifier was called Daybreak. You got your super really fast.
-
5 RepliesBro what about a strike where you can have All exotics equipped.
-
No fun allowed. You must work hard to prove yourself worthy to wear the title of Guardian. Now go grind upgrade materials.
-
I don’t remember if I answered this soooo just in case 👍
-
5 RepliesI want a Chibi mode where everyone (including NPCs) have huge heads and tiny bodies, and when you headshot them, their heads explode with confetti. /a nod to both GoldenEye and Reach
-
That sounds to much like that "F" word! Fun is not tolerated or allowed by Bungie! Not for long anyway!
-
Make it harder. Tougher strikes with 1 shitty gun :)
-
Supers are being sunset.
-
Daybreak strikes, we had them, they were fun, that's why they were removed.
-
5 RepliesKind of like Daybreak in D1? Nope. We can't have that. Bungie doesn't want us being powerful or having fun.
-
I enjoyed daybreak on the nightfall rotation back on d1
-
1 ReplyLike they put in near the end of D1....I loved doing strikes with those modifiers.
-
2 RepliesEdited by FL00FING AB0UT: 5/27/2020 3:54:37 AMIt used to be an event. It was called Revelry. Instead we got Guardian Games. To a degree, minus the intensely difficult strike. Energy abilities were able to be spammed. It was fun. Really enjoyed it. Wish we had more like that.
-
5 RepliesThat would just be hunters with blade barrage and shards of galanor. No.
-
We did have mayhem strikes. They were called daybreak back in D1.
-
2 Repliesyes, it's called daybreak
-
The good old days of Age of Triumph, trying to get that Y3 thorn to pop up
-
See that would actually be fun this is D2, We don't do that here
