Statistically, you will run into far more average people than top tier people. Especially at the low wins
I’d agree at launch that to be more accurate. Now that Trials has had its impact on the player base and the antics the top tier are employing are in full force the average players have dwindled down. That’s why token farmers, carries, account recoveries and such are present. Statistics are changing as these behaviors become more prominent.

You're not wrong. Less of the average and below players are playing trials now. That is as it should be in my opinion. However, you are still far more likely to run into players who are average than to run into player who are top 5%. Trials is for the top players. Some things are meant to be unattainable for the average people. Just as a tournament is won by the best, flawless is reserved for the teams who who have the best communication and players.

I fully understand that’s what is meant to be for this event. But I’m the current climate as the average start to dwindle and the top farm for tokens they are going to be more prevalent in the first three matches. They have their flawless and want only the tokens to farm the rolls they want. Given the matchups are based on where people sit on their respective cards the flawless, top tier are no longer playing in the upper rounds. They’re lingering in the first three rounds where most of the average would usually be.

I agree that this is a problem. However, I don't think that limiting brackets based on flawless, which a lot of people are suggesting, is the answer. I think that a pure card-based mm system needs to be implemented. That will impact the farmers a little. I also think that the higher wins, and flawless especially, need to be more rewarding. For example, each match should grant you tokens based on how many wins your card has. You get 2x if you win, and 1x if you lose. This would encourage people to get high wins in order to more effectively farm.
