They already told us the reason they’re doing seasonal activities/content. It has to do with how big the game already is and that it can’t sustainably continue getting bigger.

  • And it's a BS reason. The game isn't getting smaller each season, it's still getting bigger. If the solution to a game being too big is to make trashy content that gets removed maybe that's a sign to make a new game. "But then we'll have to start over!!!" Who cares? Good content will always be better than having the same weapons you grinded for.

I’m not going to comment on it now cause I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know much about coding or the possible negative repercussions of a game continuing to grow much more than 100GB. Not sure who you’re addressing when you talk about they should build a new game and that doing so would upset people, I personally want a new game cause it’s obvious this one is almost at its limits. With that in mind a also appreciate the fact that they continue to keep the game going with fun seasonal content as I enjoy playing it. As long as they’re up front about what’s staying and going and when it’s up to the consumer to decide if they want to purchase.

  • <And yet with that reason in mind people honestly believe this game's gonna last 5 more years.>
