14 RepliesThe mods at Raidsecrets Discord are actually gatekeeping a lot of data from the rest of the community while stealing the community data themselves. My clan asked for their spreadsheet and in return they asked for ours. After my clan gave it to one particular mod there, the guy just said that he's too busy to hand over their data and stopped replying. I'm pretty sure streamers are in on this gatekeeping thing going on there.

And why even go to the effort when it'll get buried after 2-3 days, because this is an internet-forum and not a news-site, and then you have to use some sort of search function anyway. Are people allergic to using any information about Destiny that isn't from an official Bungie site? I don't get it... EDIT: Alright, I realize complaining about this is silly. I just thought it's unnecessary to copy/paste info you can find in like 2 dozen news articles. I don't think OP is a horrible person for doing that or an idiot or whatever. Forget I said anything.

9 RepliesIt's cool, but they really could have went a little lighter than a 5,400 piece map (ish, the map is roughly 60x90). If it's a random distribution on the reveal images, that's roughly 49,500 samples on average to complete the entire set. [url]http://datagenetics.com/blog/april32016/index.html[/url] The sum of 1/n from 1 to 5,400 is 9.171462487 (approx.) Plug that into the equation and you'll get close to what I did. (not trying to be absolutely exact) At six per hour per person participating, that's still 8,250 hours worth of samples. Absolutely doable if we'd all jump in and help, but most people are just riding the sidelines and waiting for the answer (and I don't blame them, it feels futile to try to add to something of this size. That and the process itself is a bit overwhelming without explanation). Anyways, the people piecing this together are really working their tails off more than they should and I for one appreciate it.

Have yet to see anyone post the codes? You can literally google destiny and its on the very first or second article. It has all the codes and the emblem as well as the current map of the top dogs working on the puzzle. The article gets updated as soon as something relevant gets found

I wouldn’t call it spoilers. I dont think anyone wants to go visit a obelisk every hour. When the full code for the secret exotic is done i dont think you could call that spoilers since no one person will solve that whole puzzle
