I'd like Malfeasance Catalyst to be Full Auto Trigger System. Like a dark counterpart to the last word made in [i]our[/i] image as thorn was made in Dredgen Yor's. Plus a 180 with full auto would be a more stable alternative to the last words ADS which has more kick than a salty raid leader

  • I heard the MW for Malf was supposed to be a massive explosion added onto the one already in place. I think this would make for a solid primary choice for taking on majors and for Super shutdown.

    The second explosion only triggers if someone dies from the explosions malfeasance gives off. Meaning shoot them five times, hope they die from the explosions, then hope AGAIN that enemies are next to them for the second explosion to actually MATTER. That's more r tarded than my little brother on the spectrum.

  • That’s not how it works. You shoot one enemy five times, they don’t die. The Malfeasance Perk procs where the slugs explode. If the slug explosion kills them, THEN THEY explode, not that it has to kill an enemy BY them to make the explosion. All this is occurring on the same enemy. Could make it interesting for targeting a major in the middle of a bunch of Trash adds, killing he major and having them explode, killing all the trash. Could clear a bank in Gambit HELLA quick

    so then you must not see use for 95% of current catalysts right? if you want unbalanced, overpowered stuff everywhere maybe check out borderlands instead of destiny.

  • The catalyst should make the Shadow Rounds proc on 3 headshots. They currently proc on 5 hits anywhere. It would reward accurate players with a faster TTK in Crucible, and put out more DPS in PvE. And yes it would be just like OG Not Forgotten. Which is why they'd need to pair this change with a buff to 140 rpm handcannons. That combined with the lower range handcannons have now would make it balanced.

  • I want the catalysts to give malf more range. Maybe even make it to where 4 shots cause the slugs to explode instead of 5.

  • 4 shots would make it way too forgiving in PvP. It takes 180's 4 headshots to kill, with the slugs you could kill in 4 bodyshots.

  • it takes 180s 2 headshots and 2 bodys to get a kill. Tlw only takes 4 body shots to down an opponent.

  • Yes they can kill in 2 headshots and 2 bodyshots. I was just pointing out that even when hitting all headshots it still takes 4 shots to kill, and the slugs would allow it to 4 bodyshot if this change were too happen and that would be way too forgiving.
