Petition to rename Crucible to Hunter Mode.
Step 1: Get killed by Hunter with shotgun
Step 2 Get killed by Hunter with sniper
Step 3: Get killed by Hunter with Heavy
Step 4: Get killed by Hunter with blade barrage
Step 5: Get killed by Hunter with spectral blade
Step 6: Wonder why Primary weapons even exist in Crucible
Step 7: Stop playing Crucible because it is absolute garbage.
Step 8: Stop playing Destiny
Step 9: Post on the forums about how broken Hunters & Crucible are
Step 10: Get downvoted by Hunter mains.
Edit 2: I used to have a Hunter, I deleted it out of disgust, you would do the same if you had any self respect. Yes I have 2 Titans, one of them is a level boosted one which I have never even played.
Nice try Hunter mains, but you need to try harder (if that’s even possible for a Hunter main, too bad you can’t Blade Barrage a forum post)

Hunters have always been overused in The Crucible, Bungie even posted stats on it back in the day as it was such an issue. This is for two reasons: 1. Their skills are best for pvp, e.g. golden gun, barage etc. vs a healing rift or even another super where you have to get close and personal or .... even aim. Their skills and supers just lend themselves to pvp. However, other classes obviously are better for pve. 2. Hunter's increased mobility and movement animations, when combined with Bungie's odd peer to peer system and the algorithms behind it like referee etc., mean that hunters can take advantage of the laggy pvp environment were stuck in. This is further exacerbated by their overuse- if more people play hunters, the more of a sample of players with slow internet speeds you have using those animations and skills. Same thing for using cheeses and glitches- more people playing that class means you are more likely to find folks with that class cheesing. This is why it seems hunters are always op in crucible- bad design and metrics.

2 RepliesHunters are easy mode and require to skill to use their abilities. That class is broken and has been broken since d1. Why are there so many hunters? Because they can’t get kills as a titan or warlock.

How about “Sliding shotgun Hunter mode”? I think that’s more appropriate. Way too many Hunters in the Crucible, but it’s the default due to how many gimmicks they have and how easy they are to pilot.

4 RepliesIf your not a hunter, just stay out of Mayhem. That game mode is basically training grounds for blade barrage. Titan with hammers? Get knifed a million miles away, spawn and die again from another knife by same hunter because of an exotic called shards. Just play quick play because all the tryhards hunters will be dueling each other in Mayhem.

9 RepliesHere on pc titans and warlock’s are starting to be more used after the spectral nerf. Nothing hunters have can really stand up to dawnblade or bottom tree fist of havoc.

5 RepliesYou dont even have a hunter. As a general rule of thumb, before complaining about something in this game try it out for yourself for a long enough time to get a good idea of if it is actually op or not.
