Hello, I think thundercrash needs a SERIOUS buff right now! It's the only one time hit super for Titan and its damage is pathetic, and after that you'll just get stomped to death. The rest of the subclass is great! Inertia Override and the mini smash is awesome. But I think Bungie should do better for Destiny 2's first single damage super for Titan.

Edited by Winter Solstice: 7/20/2019 4:16:51 PMYeah, it’s not exactly godly in pvp either. What would be great is if it had like a shockwave around you as you passed by, so any enemy near you while you fly gets killed or at least damaged. ‘Cause lemme tell yah, I can’t count how many times i thundercrashed in crucible and everybody just jumps out of the way and kills me after i land

It's like when I use this Super on a boss, damage is so minimal, it's like he says: "Not now little Titan. Can't u see I'm busy dealing with all the Warlocks and Hunters."
-
Let Thundercrash have charge up levels upon holding down the activation buttons for increased damage and vertical take off range
-
I don’t see why it doesn’t have Nova Bomb/Blade Barrage strength. Kinda dumb.

3 RepliesThe Emperor wishes his Shadows of the Titan tribe to be more tenacious, ravaging, and opulent. He proposes: > Thundercrash has 4 charges, meaning the Titan uses Thundercrash 4 times > However, in order to trigger the charges, the Titan needs to hit an enemy directly, meaning if the Titan hits an Ogre directly with Thundercrash, the Titan is catapulted upwards and can use Thundercrash again, if the Titan hits another enemy directly, same scenario happens until the Titan hits 4 enemies. The Titan can hit the same target, flr example bosses, to trigger the charges, up to 4 times. > Thundercrash becomes more potent based on the number of charges used. The first charge deals the same damage as it does now, the second charge deals 30% more damage, the third charge deals 55% more damage, the fourth charge deals 80% more damage and the Titan gains an overshield. > Charges that remain unused will not go wasted. If the Titan uses Thundercrash only once, as in no enemy is directly hit, Thundercrash deals extra damage depending on the amount of charges unused. 55% more damage if used once, 33% more damage if used twice, 20% more damage if used three times, the fourth charge will still deal 80% more damage but the Titan won't get an overshield. > If proven to be too powerful, Calus bas proposed balances, do not mistake this balances as something the Emperor enjoys guardians, he wants his Shadows to be the absolute power among his ranks. Balance if OP: > The blast radius of Thundercrash decreases as more charges are used. The First charge has the blast radius as it does now. The second charge sees a 20% reduction, the third charge sees another 12% reduction, the Fourth charge sees an additional 8% reduction for a grand total of 40% blast radius reduction by the fourth charge. > Alternatively, the Emperor suggests this solution, which he despises. > Thundercrash still uses the Four charges mechanic, but the potency of the super relies on the amount of enemies killed in the initial blast, meaning the number of enemies killed in the first charge dictates the power of the other three charges, this does not stack when other charges are used. > 3 enemies killed on the first charge grants 20% more damage along with 15% more blast radius. 5 enemies killed provides 33% more damage, blast radius remains at 15%, 7+ enemies kille and the super gains 55% more damage with blast radius incresed by 25% on top of the 15% and the Titan gains an Overshield. > The Emperor also offers an exquisite Exotic chest piece specifically for Thundercrash. Electro Cannonizer "Destroy them where they stand, send shivers among their ranks, turn their fears asunder... O missile mine" - Calus, Emperor of The Cabal Exotic Perk Terminal Lethality Casting Thundercrash allows you to aim where to crash, upon hitting the ground you will bounce up, leaving a pool of lighting after every bounce. Enemies killed extends super, enemies killed by the lightning pools extends super even further. The higher you are when casting Thundercrash, the larger and more damaging the lighting pools become. Calus has spoken Guardian, grow fat from strenght!

3 RepliesI use it to move around the map 😂 truly the only reason I play titan.

Edited by FlamingBerserker: 6/23/2019 12:33:34 AMNow that I think about it, as a Titan main, I have to disagree. And matter of fact Titans seem to use shoulder charge wayyy too much. free easy kills right there. And arc bottom tree needs a slight nerf cause that shit lasts forever.

4 RepliesI’d like a damage increase and maybe an exotic or just a general increase in flight time as it doesn’t last all that long. But what really needs a buff Is Burning Maul, nobody uses it nobody likes it it isn’t good
-
17 RepliesSo you want another op as -blam!- subclass for titan. OEM and one hit melees not enough for you. Go you -blam!-ing scrub
-
29 RepliesAt least you can get your super back faster than most. Just do the melee thing to 3 or 4 groups of ads and voila!
-
how cool would it be while you're standing still or roaming you hold the Melee button you power up a punch and you can make your target explode?
-
3 RepliesEdited by Ninja Monkey: 6/19/2019 2:32:48 AMHmm, maybe an Exotic that electrifies any enemy not killed and when those enemies are killed, they make a large Arc explosion... Just my first thought. Enemies killed by Thundercrash will also explode
-
27 RepliesNo. Just no. Last thing Titans need is more buffs than they already have. If anything they need a few nerfs thrown at em like the other classes
-
4 RepliesLong overdue too.

You deal a little more damage there than the actual head/crit spot. It also lasts until damage phase is over/until boss died. Idea probably needs a few tweaks but I think my idea is pretty cool.

Hell yeah. It has zero exotic gear and can’t even one shot the night in vault. It’s trash.

3 RepliesSeeing as most people who use it, literally just use it as a backup to the melee ability to get it back when using skull fort, it kind of says a lot about the "super". If it is treated as nothing more than a slightly bigger version of your melee and a way to get your melee back, then someone really needs to take a good look at it. I find it especially strange that it has been terrible since the day it was released and yet it is only now that they have finally said they are looking into it.

I'd love a buff for Thundercrash. Just recently got into my Titan and DAMN is it fun! Never had so much fun as when I'm yeeting all over the map

3 RepliesEdited by DuBChiri2: 6/19/2019 6:56:38 PMI still think the subclass itself needs more work than the actual SUPER does...but I can't really say no to buffing the super. If their intention was to keep it as a weaker one off super that spammed them left and right, then it's neutral game should better represent that. Without full melee mods, it takes too long to recharge your melee so most people just run skullfort, seeing as it's also the only chance you have at living with spamming your melee because the health regen. Inertia is honestly too gimmicky for my tastes. It's reliant on ammo, which is more or less rng, and most of the time setting it up is more of a hassle than its worth. If it like...restored your weapons just for moving over ammo, but then applied the damage boost for either sprinting or sliding over the ammo, I think it would be fine. If none of this, just give the super a straight 60% pve damage boost. 60% is a lot, but nova bomb will still do more damage (yes that's how weak it is).
-
Agreed it needs a flat damage increase. 100k is extremely low for a 1 and done super most heavies can easily hit 100k and above with 1 shot.
-
2 RepliesBungie said they were looking into it and Dmg was taking suggestions for improvements for Code of the Missile in general. I hope we see something before Shadowkeep.
-
Totally agree with u , they should buff it in Order to catch up with Nova and golden gun / blades. It doesent even kill a yellow bar in reckoning when the respective singe Is on 😅

4 RepliesEdited by Castle: 6/19/2019 4:14:21 PMMistakenly I read PVP instead of PVE, carry on

Missiles deal a LOT of damage, this is a super electrified missile with the power of a nerf dart.

76 RepliesIt is the fastest charging super when paired with your melee. There is no other super that can charge to full in 30 seconds with enough adds. I wish hunter had a super that did what thundercrash does and also had its fast super charge.

I'm assuming by "single damage" what you really mean is burst damage? As in you get one shot with it? I main Warlock, and Titan is by far my least favorite class to play as, but I will say that a slight buff to damage on the initial impact would be nice. The overall design of the super is definitely kinda odd though...they went for style points over functionality, and that's what got them. The overall design just isn't great for the PvE environment, and I don't know what you could buff. The initial impact isn't a ton, but it leaves an AoE field that damages over time too. I don't think every class needs a crazy damaging super either...like, Warlocks have Nova Bomb and Chaos, which do good damage, but nothing compared to a Celestial. Hunter is more of the high damage class, Warlock is support and Titan is more add clear I feel.
