Zero Hour Mission Crash

Three times while attempting the Zero Hour mission the game has frozen on me at or near the end. No biggie as the first two times we failed on time. When the mission ended the game would cut out sound and just freeze. This would force me to alt+tab out and open task manager to end the destiny2.exe But today really irritated me. 5 minutes left and the game freezes as we are over half way through with the boss. Crap, well maybe I can reload the game and get back in to rejoin and finish it off. Great idea right? I thought so until I restarted the game and could not rejoin the fire team that I was playing with. Any insights would be great because I really don't want to waste another 15-20 minutes running this again only to have it freeze on me.

My first suspect would be an unstable GPU. I can't suggest anything without knowing your system specs however.

    • Were you using RiskRunner by chance?
