Examples such as old D1 armor just being renamed to something else and used in D2. Activities using the same mechanics and being renamed to something else. Quest steps having you do activities you’ve done over and over again. There’s so much recycled content and little new content. Weapons that we’ve gotten in D1 and we have to get them again? I don’t know if anyone else sees it but I know I do. Don’t get me wrong I still play the game. But it’s not how I use to play it. It’s frustrating to see time and time again.

12 RepliesYet at the very beginning of D2, all people could complain about was how we didn't get to bring any of our stuff over. As for bringing old stuff back, the quests for Whisper, The Last Word and Thunderlord were all incredible IMO. Much more befitting of highly-renowned weapons than getting them from a random Dreg kill. The last step for Ace of Spades was a wonderful experience, listening to Cayde's monologues. I didn't see much recycled content in the quests for Malfeasance or Wish-Ender either. I know I'm in the minority here, but I like pretty much every aspect of the game. Strikes are fun. I enjoy PvP, just got The Mountaintop and I love it. Raids with friends are the most fun I've ever had playing any game. I even like both Gambit AND Gambit Prime. To me, Season of the Drifter has been a great success - Reckoning is a nice change of pace, the armour and weapons added are all pretty solid - especially the three Pinnacle weapons - and the focus on the Drifter/The Nine lore is great for me, being an avid fan of the lore (which is incredibly well-written). Like I said, I know I'm in the minority. I know this game has flaws and I'm probably blind to a lot of them because I want to (and do) love this game. That said, I sincerely wish these forums weren't the cesspit of negativity that they are.
