WARNING: THIS IS NOT A COMPLAIN POST. LOVE THE GAME EVEN WITH ALL ITS PROBLEMS. PLEASE DON'T BE TOXIC, THANK YOU. Don't know if this was ever meant to be a thing or was a thing or anything(in year one crucible didn't even exist for me 😂), but i think it would be a good idea. Basically Iron Banner would give both Valor points, like it does now, AND Glory points when you win (maybe even in a less amount in comparison to competitive); the difference would be that you don't lose Glory points like in competitive when you lose, but simply don't get any. I also thought that regular comp players would get an advantage out of this cause probably some of them move for a week to Iron Banner but this "slows" their progress in competitive. This would also balance more things, cause basically all non-skilled PvP players will grind Iron Banner when it comes out for ranking up while skilled players (which will anyway play Iron Banner and progress, too) would find better opponents in competitive when Iron Banner is not out (yes, this would also mean less easy wins but it shouldn't be a problem... right?). I would love to hear the opinion of regular PvP players and owners of pinnacle weapons, cause of course this would simplify the process in getting them. Hope you guys see this, have an awesome day💪🏻 (by the way i'm not english so sorry for any grammar errors) EDIT 1 To everyone that speaks about being "loyal and worthy": this is a game, where i should have fun chasing things that i want, not prove my worthiness or loyalty (....to who/what?). I've seen more people that don't actually even have fun while getting pinnacle weapons and saying "i will never go back in comp, that was horrible" : that's wrong, it shouldn't be like this. I don't want things for free. Grind MUST stay a thing, but it also have to be genuine and at least satisfying (and not only when you reach the goal) and i think Bungie goal is to make us fell like this in any activity we jump in. This is a bit out of of the topic but i wanted to share it and let you know that i anyway respect everyone opinions even if i don't agree with them. The only thing i can kinda agree would be the "6 sweats teams" probably even packed with LH and NF. But i would anyway give it a try: let's see it as a "test" to see if you actually improve while "practicing" in Quickplay (speaking regarding the non-skilled players). And for last, i would like to remind that just because you have LH and NF, doesn't necessary mean you are invincible (and there are anyway weapons that can face them). If you find yourself against very strong weapons, it means that you will need to improve your tactics to win. I would expect a change like this to come out next year, and of course with new pinnacle weapons that fits good with this new implementation. (sorry again for any grammar errors)
