Copycat players
I’ve always wondered what makes another switch to whatever another person is using. They they can literally copy a whole subclass like a well or copy an entire load out.
Just kind of curious. For when I use a fusion everyone switches to one. I use chaos reach all other warlocks are using it. I know it’s not just for warlocks. Kind of want know the perspective

From my experience When I snipe people multiple times they switch to a sniper rifle, maybe because they are angry and want to show me who’s “boss”, or they just switch because their loadout doesn’t compete But I think it’s more the other one, when you dominate them with your loadout and they switch to the same, they just want to show you who’s better, or the “alpha male”. Most of the time they fail tho because it’s your loadout and not theirs

It happens:). Sometimes a weird combo is everything and btw I read trough the msgs with this one dude and all I have to say is: just don’t care about haters :’D. Jealousy is everywhere.

I hate hate when players do that. Like just recently I’ve started to see a lot more guardians using the fr4 fusion rifle because it hits so hard but before hand it was all Luna’s/Nf with a dust cock blues. I’ve begun to use a new little hidden gem of my own though and it really destroys Luna users in crucible. The satisfaction is like no other.

Well sometimes it's such a weird weapon they think it might be fun other times it might be a good weapon and it sparks a meta and then you have FILTH who switch to telesto etc exotic meta

During Crimson Days I'd get into bow and sniper fights with the opposing team. It's refreshing to have players use something other than, say, Luna's Howl and Dust Rock Blues.

Maybe they think it could be fun to try a new load out, and swap to what youre using? Or perhaps the other team is giving themselves a level playing field by using the same weapons?

yep that's how some players work. They see someone having a bit of luck in a match and think that it is a win, win build and copy it........ Wait is that what happens every time someone says "meta". I wish players will learn the simple fact that everyone is different and have different play styles so what works for you will not work for them. I say "what is a Meta"...……. It is something that you think you have to use as it is "meta" but in truth it is a limiter to finding YOUR own loadout.

Because they think they are going to be better. I still use Nova Warp and wonder why people think they can use it just because im using it. I made a dude put up his Luna for the vow because i was wrecking his ass. I'm trying to figure out how i was cheating by constantly knowing where he was with wish ender? People who are weak look to the strong to guide them but i will warn you first hand do not copy anything i do its way out of meta.

So many times I’ll kill people with specific load outs and when they kill me I see what they use. But then when I kill them a bunch I’ll see them use what I’m using. Doesn’t happen a lot, but’s honestly flattering. Sometimes I do the same thing to see how I fare with it. Good to shake things up. “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
