competitive solo/duo queue
There should be an option to select solo/duo que in comp for solo players to avoid 4 stack's. let 4stacks play against 4stacks.

Man I get mangoosed out when I play solo because of the long wait times. And when I do get a match I almost Everytime get players that's way under my God dang glory I'm so sick of bungie making -blam!-ed up changes to the game. It's really not fair in comp at all .I was almost there last week

4 RepliesI do see competitive as 4 stack versus 4 stack. Anything less and you’re just handicapping yourself. Comp isn’t just about 4 good solo players but it’s all about team work. My advice to you and anyone else is to just try and LFG (that’s what I do) as comp is designed for four players all communicating together. I do think Rumble should have a pinnacle reward on the same power level as Luna’s for solo players to go after.

5 RepliesAgreed, & 4-stacks can also face 3-stacks with a solo or another 4-stack of course. And for the love of god, if there are 2 duos in the lobby, place them in [b][i]DIFFERENT TEAMS[/i][/b]. I can’t believe I have to say after almost a year & a half of D2, [b]4 years[/b] of the destiny franchise. Do these devs do anything at all in the game? Or do they drink beer & tweet all day at work?

1 ReplyPlayed against enough 4man teams that"stack" doesn't always mean their good. I'd say 50% of the time the 4man is actually worse than 4 randoms running around team shooting. NOBODY uses game chat, just for the hell of it I've jumped into chat just 2 c if sum1 would join.... most of the time nobody does and if they do join... not as much as a burp.. dead silence. I know some ppl r toxic so joining chat can b questionable. I actually prefer the solo option, 4 some ppl getting a 4man together that works well is difficult. I'll take this over the mandatory trials fireteam anyday. PvP could use some reworking yes. I'm not great at comp but I like PvP so I just try my best n remember.. IT'S A GAME...I get stress from my day job, I'll b damned if my video game causes it.

2 RepliesIf im not mistaken Bungie added some kind of protection where team of 4 are basically lower skill than 4 of randoms ,yes its not always the case but you cant split up so small competitive community to even smaller pieces it would die out very fast when you would play laggy players. After playing 5 matches in comp solo i see the its going in good direction.

But at the same time, some of the 4 stacks I've came up against have been absolute asscheeks! :O I solo'd Luna and around 60% of the 4 stacks I faced were bad, like REALLY bad... and I'm ass in pvp :/ It wasn't until I got to 2600ish I could not get past a single 4 stack playing solo ( This was last season )

1 ReplyI’m guessing the population is too low, which is why nothing is done about matching stacks with solos. If you run a stack, you should gain less and lose more glory per game based on how many in your fire team.

8 RepliesHow many 4 stacks do you run into? I play teams of 4 every now and again but they are usually pretty bad. It's extremely rare that I actually run into a 4 stack. Most of the stacked 2kd+ teams are all up in mythic-5500.

I would honestly love a comp playlist for 1's or 2's. Competitive doubles playlist with elimination as the game type would be a dream come true.

1 ReplyWith about 1% of the destiny 2 population playing competitive, there’s not much room to split the playlist, especially unnecessarily. I think what you want, is for them to put bots on the other team, and you win most matches. I’m sorry, but you’ll just have to git gud, or accept you can’t win most matches.
