Ya know what? -blam!- this, I give up.
Hunter mains know whats best. Let's nerf the voidwalker again despite blade barrage being an instant 0 skill, 0 effort counter to everything in the entire game.
While we're at it lets give titan and warlock a blade barrage of their own and just change it slightly plus their own shards and then we'll all have a perfect and balanced panic super and there's no need for roaming supers anymore because the panic super kills everything anyway.
You all win. -blam!- it. I don't care, the game can stay boring and hunters everywhere will rejoice at yet another year of easy -blam!-ing supers. I'm done arguing just to be countered with, "but it's one and done" because that means that BB is fine and nova bomb being buffed will totally make it just as good.
Oh and the arguments that compare BB to nova bomb and thundercrash keep on coming. What don't you people get about the fact that there is NO comparison. Look at the -blam!-ing statistics people! Why the -blam!- is blade barrage used over the nova bomb and thundercrash if they're the -blam!-ing same skill level and effectiveness?
There's nothing to compare! The Blade barrage is simply superior. It requires less thought than any super in the game, you don't need to aim at all and there is no risk, the armor you get is so high that very little can kill you and if by some miracle you are killed, you probably didn't use the super so you get it back on spawn.
Nova bombs can kill the user just as easily if not more easily than the target. Thundercrash is harder to use effectively in smaller spaces. Blade barrage works everywhere, small space, open space, whatever. -blam!- me, people are so ignorant.
I'm out.
Edit: how the -blam!- is this trending? I'm getting more gate filled comments and shit than not... Welp, keep that rage fueled conversation going peeps, I'll check back again in a few days. Oh and happy new year and all that crap

1 ReplyI agree and diss agree. Nova was really toxic and blade barrage is toxic but warlocks have some of the best supers while hunters its blade barrage, golden gun, or blade dancer 2.0 so if they nerf BB then hunters are back to being pretty trash
-
1 ReplyJust saying Nova Bomb is the least viable super in the game right now. You take collateral damage if you're too close to it and sometimes it doesn't even kill. Also, it's super slow tracking makes it basically kill one person only. I Nova bombed some supers and the lived through it like it was nothing to them. It needs a serious buff. Also, thundercrash isn't viable as well unless they're close. It can't go far either and you go down after 4 seconds of flight. I honestly wished we could freely control the super until we crash into something. That'd fix it's weakness. And burning maul... Slow making it easy to escape from, hit register is terrible, and weaker than most supers. It'd need something like better hit register and a speed buff like the dawn blade or fist of havoc. Many supers need some tweaks.

Well to be fair hunters never had a panic super until now

3 RepliesContrary to popular belief, I’m speaking for PVE, but blade garage is noticeably weaker. It was ninja nerfed. From the amount of damage the knives do, to the damage drop off and the spread distance. Anyone who uses this can absolutely notice a difference. Also shards of Galanor was nerfed too. So, thanks to people complaining in PVP, something awesome once again is nerfed, because nobody could find a way to counter anything and all they want to do is complain in this game. Also, change your perception. If you take a good look, coincidentally a lot of people who run blade barrage also have a warlock or titan main. More than they would like to admit. Same goes for when titans first got their OHK SHOULDER Charge, the same players regardless of what they main, are now shoulder charging apes. Please don’t take my word for it, start paying attention to the available data. So it’s not just hunters, it’s Cheap Players. And once again, Bc of PVP bullshit , PVE gets the aggravation of weapons, abilities, and exotics becoming weaker. Bungie, ffs, just nerf the weapons in PVP only please. I can’t understand why this is even an issue.

Blade barrage can't win whole rounds of countdown like nova warp can. Half the time people use it its only to get one surprise kill. Nova Warp and now Spectral Blades end up giving the user way more kills on average.
-
25 RepliesNova Warp is literally the first amazeballs super warlocks have ever had. I expect it to be nerfed though and that makes me a sad panda. However hunters who use blade barrage yet call for a nova warp nerf are cancer. Blade barrage and nova warp are in the same class. Excellent, fun to use supers that actually cater to the power fantasy. No nerfs.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Spicy Water: 12/31/2018 7:55:24 AMNova bomb needs a buff, nova warp needs a nerf, blade barrage is in a good spot because though it kills everything immediately, you only get it once, (shards needs to be fixed in pvp though) while with nova warp you can move around and kill things all over the map. I personally see no problem with nova warp duration or power, but its range should be nerfed to the point where it isn’t basically impossible to avoid Also titan supers need a buff Stormcaller master race
-
I’m a hunter. I use blade barrage. I do not want nova warp to be nerfed. What I do want is for the nova warp to stop instantly killing me from 150 feet away without it even coming close to me. It needs to be fixed, not nerfed. It is legitimately broken.

Supers have never required skill. You pop it, you get at least one free kill against a normal opponent The biggest thing that everyone saying the same thing you’re saying forgets, is that supers are supposed to be super. Every class has a different role to play. Hunters have always been dps (original golden gun) and stealthy melee combat (blade dancer). Hunters are efficient killing machines, simple as that. Titans have always been the tanks. Need a wall? Here. Need a banner shield? There ya go. Here’s a rally barricade cause reloading dumb, I gotchyu. Wait we need to kill a big thing? Let me chuck some hammers at it. Oh there’s a lot of little things? My fists of havoc will have a talk with em. Warlocks, like it or not, have always been more of a support class than any of the others. Well of radiance is a perfect example. But beyond that, they’ve been given “space magic”. Which basically means a lot of really crazy outlandish supers. The point is, almost all of their abilities are in support of the other classes. To build on that last line: The warlock class ability is to put a rift down that can be used by all other players, offering health regeneration or increased damage. Titans pop down a barricade that can be used as cover by all other players, offering full body protection from a certain angle, or infinite ammo in their allies guns. Hunter’s class ability is in comparison, selfish, it’s to help them evade, help them regain their melee ability, or to reload their weapons. And to turn invisible as well if they’re a nightstalker. Main point We are not playing halo. We are not playing a game where as soon as you load in, you’re on the same level playing field as everyone else. (seeing 300’s in iron banner this week makes that pretty apparent) We are playing a game where every player is going to differ in one way or another, and that’s more than just based off the skill behind the controller. It’s the RNG behind the gear we’re all wearing. Each class has their strengths and weaknesses. I distinctly remember being given a choice between all three classes at the start of this game. At the start of d1 even. You are not your class, you are a human being choosing to play whichever class you want. And if all you care about is winning? Then pick the one that will help you win. take that for what you will Everything is your choice.

Blade needs nerf
-
Blade barrage is out of control you do need to aim it, but you are unkillable in the animation which makes it very frustrating to counter -oh you are about to die? Just BB and poof everyones dead and you are immune despite tanking a hammer of sol and a whole team shooting you in the face...doesn't make sense.
-
1 ReplyNova's radius, blades tracking, one eyed damage buff, etc etc. Who cares anymore. Calling for nerfs isnt going to fix anything because bungie has a vast track record of overdoing these nerfs. We're going to end up back in D2 vanilla if we keep doing this shit.
-
If the enemies aren’t together then you have to adjust your aim if you want to hit them but other than that I agree. Outside of mayhem I normally only get 1-2 kills per use and it’s two because I hold onto it for quite a while trying to wait on a group. I can throw on sentinel shield and go to town on the entire enemy team though.
-
Ahhh no lol
-
BB is a one and done. Unless ur whole team is just standing in one room u get 2-3 kills. Should it just tickle? Nova gets 4-7 kills per super. I do agree all supers damage resistance needs to be toned down by alot tho. Running away should not be the only counter
-
3 RepliesI don't really care about any of that nerfing shit, as a Warlock main I agree Nova warp could use a slight adjustment. NOT A COMPLETE NERF INTO THE GROUND. Reduce a bit of the blast range, and make it so that it needs a full charge to get a big blast radius. No more of that half-a-second charged nuke that could reach a guardian 10 feet in the air. As for Blade Barrage...y'all need to take some chill pills and wash it down with some "shut-the-fuq-up" juice. Reduce some of the tracking and there ya go. Shards of Galanor are fracking fine. I don't care what you saw in Mayhem, that's how the game mode works. Compare it to regular Crucible and pve and you really have no reasonably good basis to screw over one of the best Hunter exotics. In short: some small adjustments, nothing extreme. Quit your crying, sit down and shut it.
-
BB needs a nerf in damage resistance. Once a hunter pops it, youre -blam!-ed, because there is basically no window to shut it down. Not even with a super. A GG shot should be able to one hit them.
-
Screw everyone, my Ursa Furiosa got nerfed all to hell, so should everything else. I hate you, I hate you, I don't even know you and I hate your guts. I hope all the bad things in life happen to you and nobody else. Hate! Hate! Hate! Hate! Hate! Hate!
-
3 Repliesjust remove the insane tracking tbh
-
Edited by RingersCheckmate: 12/30/2018 9:06:52 AMYou don’t have to be a hunter to know that a one-off super is powerful and should be. Tweak nova warp Buff nova bomb Make thundercrash faster
-
2 RepliesI agree that Blade Barrage should be tweaked with something more skill based. Baken shows just how broken it is in his final clip of one of his montages. He stands nose-to-nose with someone. Double jumps with Stompeez to max height (the other dude isnt even on his screen at this point) and used BB and the dude still dies. Its...in one word... -blam!-. Nova warp can suck a dick. I would say leave Nova as it is and just give tether a activation buff. Make it pop as soon as it lands. That was the OG shutdown super but it had timing, it was super easy to, not counter but at least trade by shooting them just as they released the arrow ect. BB is impossible to counter. I only play Wraith if that helps my argument. Used to do trials carries with Nightstalker in D1 with double nades and melees and no super so Im not bias in anyway.
-
2 RepliesWarlocks and titans had panic supers all of D1 now people cry because hunter has one lmao.
-
10 RepliesSoooo...kinda not an honest comparison. What is BB really? Pretty much the same thing as FoH and Shatter Nova used to be in D1. It has mild tracking and a decent explosion radius. It shuts down anything but a banner shield and the new arcstrider. It's essentially the first panic super the hunter has ever had in the Destiny world. Nothing really wrong with it. What's the real issue, why does it seem so insanely powerful and like it's always killing you? Primarily, because hunters are the most used PvP class, due to the mobility aspect. So half or more of every lobby is one. And BB is the most used super, so chances are the other team will get several off per game. Also, Shards are malfunctioning the same way Ursa was, and giving back too much super in PvP. Fix Shards, and BB instantly becomes less annoying. Bottom line, hunters have a shutdown / panic super now; get used to it. The only way to change it is to functionally remove it from the game, which isn't going to happen. Fixing Shards and pretty simply getting over it as a super (getting used to playing with it in mind) is about the extent of what needs to be done. Nova Warpnis basically fine, but hand held supernova is a dick move.
-
1 ReplyU say that there are many counters to blade barrage nearly none it void walker the only thing that can out run it is a titan skate with the blink
-
1 ReplyAs a Hunter, Blade Barrage is OP and it needs to be reworked.
-
Decrease the radius. Simple
