8 more Gambit matches...and then I get the gun...
If a week is a long time in politics then a Gambit match is a long time in, err...well it just feels like it takes a long time lol.
I’m not one for quests which explains why I don’t have many exotics that come from them as I baulk at the length, the PvP aspect and the fact I’m probably going to die a lot...when I shouldn’t.
I’ve stuck at it and the end is in sight..
But if I have to scream at my tv once more, “For the love of God! BANK THE MOTES! BANK!...Oh for f**ks sake!!” As I watch another team mate die carrying 15 or however many we need to summon a Primeval..
Then I may not make it..
Give me strength to see this through!

Grinded all week for the breakneck and malfeasance with nightstalker, telesto and Orpheus rig. Got to the final part of the malfeasance quest and had enough by then so I switched to queensbreaker and lit up golden gun for the 4 invasion kills never been so satisfied to finish a quest....

2 RepliesIt's worth it. Have both malf and breakneck. Still in therapy for trying to bank motes in crucible now. Keep hearing primeval activated in my sleep but doctors tell me it will be ok.

8 RepliesAs someone who only recently got this gun, I understand you. :) Lazy boy Drifter was unwilling to give me Hazard of the cast (yet awarded with all other his guns I know of at least twice), so I had to torture my unwilling team-mates with my terrible performance in Gambit. Back to Breakneck - was quite surprised with what I got. For me it's decent replacement for Ether Doctor/Suros Regime, basically the thing that really disappoints me is low ammo count (and I have reserve modifier on armour), but otherwise, it's very fun gun to use, and honestly - what else do I need? Hmm, do I sound a bit like Marcus from Borderlands? Regardless, wish you luck and hope you'll enjoy the gun.

4 RepliesI've had enough with bloody ammo economy in this game mode. I normally love playing Gambit, had a 20 win streak as a solo not too long ago, but my recent games have just been a chore. Even with 2 Heavy Ammo Drop perks on my armour, I'm still going through games without a single heavy brick. Even special bricks are lacking. I've had to start relying on Scouts for Invaders and just saving my Chaos Reach/Geo Mags for boss damage.

Must say Breakneck was kind of a disappointment, mainly since AR are in a bad spot currently. Furthermore the rampage bonus feature only kicks inat rare occasions unfortunally. Malfeasance though is great basicly Truth plus a bonus against invaders and Taken enemies.

Great weapon for everything pve except gambit it seems. Malf is the way to go mix it with a good energy weapon(my favorite is a sniper) and a lmg for heavy or linear fusion rifle. Your choice

Edited by blade329: 12/18/2018 9:19:22 PMI already did it. The Breakneck is very good weapon. However, it kinda sucks in Gambit. It takes way too many rounds to take down a rank and file enemy and it hurts the effectiveness of this gun. Rampage works well for a tiny period of time. You loose too much time having to constantly reload from BS bullet sponges. Primary weapons are just too weak in this mode.

6 RepliesI get people trying to get triumphs or whatever, but man I have to say I get annoyed when I see a teammate with more than 10 and not banking. When I play with my clanmates, we all agree: [b]small blockers are the biggest pains to deal with.[/b] You can send more of them (15 total), their stupid shields mean you can not just directly fire at their faces, and on certain maps they can launch you to your death with ease. Whenever I am running a full squad with my clan, we flood the other side with small blockers. And (generally) we can get the victory. A lot of the time we can get a primeval [b]before[/b] the other team can even invade. It is so much easier then when I solo que, see that guy holding 14 desperately trying to get one more only to get a queensbreaker round to the face from an invader. And seriously people: The large blockers are easy AF to get rid of. You can melt them in seconds. Medium blockers are easy enough as well. Those small blockers can launch you into a wall for an insta-kill.

2 RepliesI stopped at 37/40 for the breakneck quest last night and I got a godroll bygones to drop (arrowhead or hammer forged, high cal or flaredmag, outlaw and rampage) which kinda makes me feel like the game gave me a middle finger for trying to get breakneck lol

1 ReplyIt’s worse when you’ve been playing only gambit for three weekends straight, but can’t get breakneck cos your WiFi all of a sudden sucks. I could make through two rounds, but almost every game went to three, and then a beaver sent from hell would take over my screen once more. Finally got it on my B-day tho basically haven’t used anything else since, but now I just got malf maesance quest, sooooo more gambit, yay.....
