Thank GOD The Quests Are Account-Wide Now
I don't see why or how they thought Character-based progression would be recieved well.
I was really planning on giving PvP a chance this Season, to actually play it more than PvE, but being restricted to 1 Character if I wanted to get the pinnacle weapons was a huge letdown. You brought all these combinations and synergy into the game only to restrict progress to one Character? Thank god.

19 RepliesI love that theyre account based now, just wished they gave a shit about the pve community at all. The pve guns looks meh and theyre so easy that the comp greasers have plenty of time to bang out their legend chase and both the pve ones. I dont think thats right. Why does it take a ridiculous time commitment to get the crucible fabled reward, but the gambit 'pinnacle' weapon DOESNT EVEN MAKE YOU GET WINS IN GAMBIT. Just horseshit tbh, and more of bungie feeding into their already dogshit elitist pvp community

1 ReplyJust remember: Its ok to play crucible for reasons OTHER than pursuing one of these quests. Account wide is going to put pressure on players to ALWAYS be working towards the goal. Stay safe out there.

Never mind I found it. Guessing it will only apply to the new quests not the old one's we have and I will be honest I don't want any of the three new items too much. Maybe the AR but I only play my titan on Gambit any way.

I just don’t think they thought about it personally. I don’t think it was a design choice, just a mistake they’re now sorting. I don’t think they expected anyone to finish the Redrix quest and then do it on 2 other characters haha I’m not sure if this will count for exotic quests though, because I’ve almost accidentally done the ace and chaperone quests just because they were in the inventory of my alt character.

2 RepliesIt’s impossible for me to tell if the PVE/Gambit pinnacle weapons are anything ‘special’ at this point. They just seem like any other guns with another perk in two weak categories. Are they talking about buffing the categories also?

1 ReplyI didn't notice that part until I saw this, and thank god. As is I feel like my Titan will be the best choice for the Vanguard one and probably Gambit even though it's not my main. Arc kills in Strikes with Insurmountable Skullfort isn't a big deal, and I need to look over my Kinetic Auto Rifle options but I think Horror Story (gave to my Titan since Y1 I liked using a masterworked Origin Story) may be the better choice, since there's no way in hell I'm choosing an energy Auto-Rifle over Ikelos SG.

I'm just excited to get my hands on those guns. Little nervous about the grenade launcher though. I have nasty luck with gernade launchers and double kills so...gotta suck it up lol. I want that gernade launcher though.
