Bungie hates its playerbase
Today i was in gambit trying to deal with a gamemode i feel isnt balanced at the moment just to get a milestone completed I’m truly convinced. This is the most unfun game with the most potential i have ever played. It has a nice story, nice characters, nice gameplay.
But then you notice. This is the most unrewarding looter game.
Think about it.
Before you get angry how much of your loot picked up is dismantled just for weapon components just so you can turn them into the same weapon you just got from the gunsmith with slightly better or worse rolls.
How many times have you completed 10 rounds of blind well just to have your powerful gear be boots that are the same level as the boots you have equipped.
How many times have you wanted to infuse but couldn’t because of masterwork cores(which limits your playstyles, builds(since they removed the real skill trees)(and limits the way you look.)
And limits what weapons you use baes on pwr lvl not by type
How many times have you went strike farming just to feel like exotics are bugged
And unless you have more hours than me dont comment. Seriously this is the opinion of a player with more than 400 hrs.
I honestly feel like bungie doesnt want the game to be fun. It feels like a job.
And jobs arent fun. I mean look at borderlands same principles in loot. But your event s werent limited nor time gated and this was last generation. Im extremely disappointed with my destiny experience overall. I dont care what you guardians do but im going to wait for a few new vaults to open up in the next Borderlands game. And give Anthem a shot. Because right now i have full confidence that bungie does not know what they are doing to make a fun game. Keyword being FUN.

Good Lord you complain here a lot. We are literally one month since launch. Comparing this game to a job is quite literally -blam!-. It's a game don't like it just take a break seriously. Everytime I see you on the forums I can imagine your blood pressure spiking everytime. Seriously just relax.

I have dramatically more hours put into Destiny 2, and my take on it is that it's not the game that makes it fun sometimes, its playing with friends. Solo play just is not fun in Destiny 2. This game has content, it does, but the quality of life is so crappy that it disheartens you almost constantly. Theres a reason my friends and I already pre-ordered both RDR2 and Fallout76 😂

8 RepliesEdited by name: 10/4/2018 10:34:04 AMyes, fun isnt allowed in destiny , but that has a logic , it has been designed around gambling psychology algorithms , where you go though many losses in a repetitive and boring pattern (like spinning slots or roulette which itself is not fun but the prospect of win makes you do it) but right before you about to quit you get that one win that puts you back into the hamster wheel, the fun is not ment to be the actual game , but the slot machine high you get from engrams and lootboxes (occasionally as described above)

How have you played 100s of hours if you don't find it fun? I play games like this purely because they're fun. You don't always need a great reward for showing up. The grind is there to always give you something to chase, and the milestones are there to give you direction. If your not having fun, go play something else for a while.
