That's a kick in the metaphorical pants for everyone not planning on doing the raid.
There's going to be some "discussion" here, I'll tell you what.

Yea they just lost ton players looking at maybe getting the game , once they went did a old school failure like orginal ff14 and conan mmo , and other mmos, the hit a cardinal sin.

3 Replies"Why don't people do the raid"? Because it can sometimes take hours. Most of the player base don't have 5 other people they trust to stick around several hours to get a raid done.

They should have locked behind the new strike that opened after clan redeem beat the raid. You know so it made them even more infamous (not that I give 2 shit that they beat it hahah)

Some people got it from blind well tier 3 heroic version. So there’s an alternative already just need a good team and few more light level.

To me it’s cool to get the seed of light in the raid but I feel like everyone can do that so I prefer like a hard mini campaign to earn my super. If you are going to respond pls be civilized

I'd like to be able to get them on my own since they sold the update off the back of "Nine new supers for you to use"... Just failed to mention you need 5 people to help you to unlock the last one. Oh sorry, they failed to mention you need 5 people to help you with a 'chance' to unlock the last one...

I hope it's a guaranteed drop... Took me 15 tier 2 Blind Well events to get my seed of light. Watched at least 20 other people loot it before me.

9 RepliesAs someone who enjoys getting meaningful drops from endgame activities like raiding, this is not ok. These subclass trees need to be accessible to all people, not just the literal fraction of the population that actually does raids. This is a change that needs to happen and soon.

What's pissed me off most though is that bungie has kept silent about this. They could of told us the last seed of light is behind the raid but no they kept quiet and kept that marketing team rolling to suck us all up and take our money! Seriously they are as bad if not worse than EA!

3 RepliesIf the abilities were shown off in the trailers and someone pre ordered the game based on what’s displayed in the trailers (they thought they’d get subclass abilities in a normal way), then I guess you’ve got more kicks in the balls to go through.
