Add matchmaking to all content (raids, story , nightfalls , patrols, trials) ASAP
there is no excuse for such lazy game design that doesn't offer the users to matchmake games inside the game

on the forums everyone has ridiculous requirements for people , so many don't even get a chance to practice as they are exposed to the mercy of arrogant players to even get a chance to practice , let alone to win

The reason why DestinyLFG exists is because Destiny on console doesn't have bloody text chat. Atleast then people could advertise their groups.. We have no communication in a place that is supposedly "social". GIVE US TEXT CHAT AND WE CAN COMMUNICATE! I don't know if X person needs a group, nor does X group know that I need one in a social area like the tower, now if we had text chat, we'd be able to communicate that without going through the tedious process of messaging everyone in the map whether or not they want a party. If bloody WoW figured that out nearly 2 decades ago, so has far too many other multiplayer FPS, WHY HAVEN'T YOU BUNGO? This isn't a failure, this is a travesty. A travesty of incompetence, as to why this has never been a consideration ON CONSOLE, completely and utterly bewilders me.

9 RepliesWarframe has the perfect matchmaking system. It's quick and to the point. Press a button and pick from Public, Friends, Invite Only, or Solo. It's as simple as that. Just put that on everything and call it a day. With that system in place you can play any part of the game in your own way. 1v4 trials? 1 person raid? 1 person strike? Sure! You may not have the best outcome but you can play how want with optional matchmaking. It boggles the mind how someone could be against this. It doesn't detract from their gameplay one bit, but instead adds to the core experience by creating variety in gameplay.

Did you know that in Destiny 2 actually exist the matchmaking for raids and nightfalls? Yes-yes, im talking about “guided game” And i am wondering that bungie now are reading this topic and think “wtf they thanking about, we already did this” and keep ignoring us)) Looool)) Btw did somebody know any fast way to dismantle shaders?..

No matchmaking for raids. Ever. It would be chaos. When a pro raider gets matched up with a noobie they’re gonna leave immediately, or people could use the matchmaking to troll. The forums are there for a reason. If newcomers want to learn raid they can post on forums for it. No one wants to get matched up randomly with people for a raid being completely unaware of those people’s individual skill level or amount of completions they have. That’s why on th me forums they specify what they’re looking for in players and raid report people’s accounts to see their clears.

2 RepliesI think that story, nightfall, and patrol should have optional matchmaking but definitely not the raid or trials. If you want the trials experience or to do a raid you should have to put in some effort. If you really want to experience end game content then you shouldn’t have a problem working for it a bit. That’s the appeal of a loot based game is putting in work to get good crap. All that implementing a matchmaking system into trials and the raid would do is piss you off at the randos you get matched with.

I agree. Of my clan of 20 or so people - myself and one other are the only ones that play here and there. A couple of the others logged in for one strike after Warmind released since September, and haven't been back either. This is a clan that would play almost everday during the lifespan of D1. And now gearing this game back to fireteams, when a majority of clans have evaporated... solo players have no real options. I already went through the LFGs, reddits and lists to gather a clan for D1... I don't have the time or want to do it all over again.

Sure you may get matched with some people who suck, matchmaking is matchmaking, can't be helped no matter where you go. Solo or group players will be satisfied. Group players can continue to do what they want unhindered and more individual players will gain experience in these activities rather than being kick from the first mistake. I don't see how anyone could be against having more ingame options. (who am I kidding, there will always be those who want the lfg club to be the only option.)

2 RepliesNever gonna happen. Apparently you've been at this as long as I have so you know that this is one of the most requested things by the player community since D1 dropped over four years ago. And what's been Bungie's response? Crickets. Not one word about universal matchmaking since day one. Apparently, on this they are immovable.

You do not have to solo a single mission, strike, incursion, etc. If you want to kick someone from group, everyone has to vote on it. (ex light lvl too low) It's so easy to implement, it seems to be a desire on Bungie's part, not to want the community to engage. Using forums and apps to "matchmake" is archaic and annoying!!!! I will say cheers to The Division devs, they have the best in game matchmaking I have ever used. Countless activities completed while being under-geared and was able to learn from experienced players....once geared up, I returned the favor.

Been wanting this for forever but people fight against it illogically. People who wouldn’t even use it don’t matter to me. If you wouldn’t use it leave those alone that would? Basically if you wouldn’t use it, then focus on your own side of the street! Don’t tell other people what they prefer to have and do in a game. Obviously Bungie has continued to subscribe to the notion MM would be bad for the endgame but every argument I hear that argues for this sentiment has holes in it. “Just because” isn’t good enough for me. I try and look at things objectively, but there is no objective to be found in regards to this notion. Maybe they don’t have the time right now? Money? Ok from corporate? I have no clue lol.

matching making would be great. I spent 20 minutes - 1 hour looking for someone for Heroic strikes on Bungie.net and LFG. This is sad Bungie. Get ride of your anti social devs or whomever is the idiot that will not equip optional matchmaking. Beta or whatever they had during launch was terrible. Guided Games was a failure. Terrible failure !!!

2 RepliesYeah ive been waiting for a LONG time for the optional matchmaking, i dont understand why bungie doesnt add it... i mean peoples who hate it wont be affected they can still play the game with clan peoples or friends, or still use the lfg options via destiny app .... myself im deaf in real life, im in a clan yes but like Orange said, i dont want to spend extra time OUTSIDE of a game to find peoples... it take forever and most peoples shy away from me when i reply i cant use the mic... i just want to play everything the game has to offer even if i dont complete then its ok at least i have the choice right? And again its not like peoples gonna be affected with it... its optional !!! Bungie for the love of god please please add matchmaking... Nightfall is easier than heroic at the moment and there is matchmaking for heroic ?!?!?!? Hello!!!! Guided games doesnt work for me because when i finally find a group after a LONG wait i just get kicked because no mic!!!
