I'm sick of.all the whining.
I wish Bungie would give all these babies a mote of diamond light that would just make every item in thier inventory and vault level 370.
It would also unlock every exotic weapon catalyst.
After this these brats would then complain the game is too easy.
After using the diamond mote it would turn every emote for that character into them sucking thier thumb like the baby they are.
I'm a blind fanboy because I enjoy the game?
Priceless!
I can guarantee you one thing - if I complained half as much as these folks I'd realize "damn I hate what this game is - I'm outta here "

I think the DLC is great. I like the grind for certain things and I like the harder heroic strikes and the Protocols. I am glad they aren't just handing things out like they did when D2 launched. I think Hellas Basin is a really good map with plenty to do and explore and Ana Bray is a great addition to Destiny and the overall DLC is way better than CoO and has really smoothed out D2 and made it better, IMO. You can't please everyone but I think they did a really good job with this DLC. I have said what I like and don't like about D2 for the last few months and while yes there are many things that they messed up on, they are making D2 much better. Yeah we shouldn't be here in the first place with many things that a lot of disagreed with but we are and I for one am okay with it because it's getting better, much better.

1 ReplyJust goes to show---once again---there isn't nor will there ever be a version of this game that pleases everyone. This is only a "problem" for players who want to level up as fast as possible. It will be possible for solo players to reach max power. It will just take longer because there is more in the game for people who are willing to play with others to do. But that's how it should be. The notion that solo players grinding public events were leveling up as fast (or faster) than people playing the most difficult content in the game was kind of silly. There needs to be a path to level cap for everyone. But those playing the hardest content...and the greatest amount of the game should---and need to---level up faster.

4 RepliesInstant gratification generation at it's finest. They want it now, with using the least amount of effort. If they can't get what they want ASAP, they have a temper tantrum like a child wanting candy in a grocery store. The "grind" is pretty straight forward. You have seven days of the week to progress your characters Power level. Plenty of time to get your power level up to par. Level 7 Escalation Protocol is doable with nine 350+ players. And you can get to 360+ during this week by doing all of your milestones and the normal and then prestige raids. The increase will be even greater when the second raid lair releases, giving us more powerful loot to use as infusion fuel. Time to put in your time and effort to feel like you've finally accomplished something by working towards a goal instead of just getting upgrades for simply existing in a clan. Water tastes better after a good workout.

100% agree, it’s the first weak and people are complaining that they aren’t max light yet. Welcome to the grind boiiis, It’s only gotten easier since D1 vanilla. This isn’t even as bad as TTK before we had 1-1 infusion. STOP BITCHING AND DO YOUR MILLSTONES!!!

1 ReplyPeople aren't complaining for that reason. People are complaining due to the bullsh*t softcap. All venders capped at 340 until you push 10 levels beyond, then they climb by 1. Heroic strikes are 350, but reward 335 gear. Crucible rewards 340 gear. Protocol is 370, and it was the highlight of their dlc. Prestige Nightfall 360. New raid lair, 370. My point is that they made content with steep requirements, but the soft cap prevents reasonable people from getting strong enough to do those things. I personally think heroics should have rewarded up to 350 gear to match. Protocol should have rewards every wave, not just wave 3,5, and 7. People arent mad about not being max already, people are mad at the lack of options to get there.

... for 20€ on eververse..! ^*

DLC hasn't been put a week and people are complaining about not being max light? Man, I'd love to see their expression in early D1.

Edited by TheShadow-cali: 5/11/2018 5:53:02 AMYou do realize no one is forcing you to read anything right? oh, and if you were playing the game you wouldn't be on here creating a post like this. Just a thought... Edit:
After using the diamond mote it would turn every emote for that character into them sucking thier thumb like the baby they are.
Thought Luke Smith was on that already with the fairy dust and sunshine kisses his nieces wanted.
-
Haha bro they soft capped light Did you think that was going to ever be a good idea.
-
2 RepliesDidn't they do that before? Had like a shortcut gem of some kind?
-
4 RepliesI'd rather be given a chance to get past 345 without doing the raid then be being handed a 370 insta-level item like a child. Solo and semi-casual players got f*cked. Hardcore players get all the juicy stuff fast. That is simply a fact. I don't mind earning my way up to 380 if it means I can gradually do it over a month or 2, not until or after September.
Pick your fanbase, Bungie. Hardcore or semi-Casual. You can't do both.
Ok so a couple of things fanboy, what they gave us with the expansion isn’t grind, because only milestones reward some random item you may or may not find use in, the rest of the grind content is useless after those are achieved. So tell me how making heroic strikes useless after you get the milestones is grind, how you can’t literally do EP until level 370 is grind, how capping all drops at 335/340 grind. Honestly how some of you see this as grind is just stupid, even more how does it make sense that activities that are meant to help you get ready for a raid, are harder than them. In RoI they had a good progression system, there was so little complaining because you had real grind, Heroics where useful past the 385 mark, the NF was always useful and PEOPLE DIDN’T NEED TO BE FORCED INTO THE RAIDS. Now since they -blam!-ed up progression they decided raids should be mandatory to do content that’s lower than they are, because somehow to them and you progression means making everything useless so early on, that in the first day you are already at a point where only milestones can help you. Oh and let’s not ignore like you guys are that the main story missions will get you at the edge of 340, so it’s not even people rushing through content, the game itself is pushing you to 340, so stop blaming is for their mistakes. This system will be changed because they will see how bad it is, because it is bad (really who made the decision to pretty much kill heroic strikes). In September they will change it when they see it was badly done, like every stupid change they did on Destiny 2, starting by erasing Destiny 1. They have made improvements because I won’t say they haven’t, but this ain’t one of them, you don’t improve a game by making content useless within hours of release, milestones or not strikes and engrams shouldn’t be useless so early on.
-
Oh stop being a baby.
-
1 ReplySounds like you need that emote you're talking about for yourself. Need a -blam!-in tissue?
-
4 RepliesWe want to grind for cool gear, and actually play the game. Not grind power levels for months. Who's the idiot that asked them to make leveling up annoying and slow?
-
1 ReplyThe op is a drama queen. No one forced you to read the threads of others complaining about the game. As long as those players aren't breaking any rules on these forums they have a right to complain. There is a mute button so why not use it instead of acting like one of the Kardashians.
-
You’re complaining about complaining.. oh the hypocritical irony in these forums. Lol
-
You’re complaining now... I don’t think people would mind the grind if you were actually still seeing progression past the milestones. You don’t. Even exotic engrams are now nerfed below your power level. That’s never been what destiny did. Exotic engrams used to mean something, now they don’t. The only way to progress is milestones. Now me personally I’m still playing and trying destination protocol, trying the quests I actually understand and casually trying to find ridiculously hidden collectibles (how is that even fun). But I can’t front, I’m already mentally over this game and this dlc. Sucks as I loved destiny, but in its current state I don’t feel like going to a boring chore is going to do anything for the player base aside from those that want that hardcore grind for nothing. Insane to me but to those that like it that’s cool.
-
Frankly I see no logical reason why exotics shouldn't level you up a little like they always have, seems a pointless change..... And the power level of the event/mission should be mirrored in the rewards.... Bungie have got it wrong, simple as that. But its not surprising, there's no new content until September! Haha....

10 RepliesEdited by ellejay13: 5/11/2018 3:04:26 AMA handout? No thank you. My issue with this DLC is there’s no reward for my time spent. I like a grind. I play MHW which has a serious one, and I love it. I get rewarded for the time I spend on a hunt. Here, you do a level 350 strike and get 340 rewards. Want to do Escalation Protocol? Sure go ahead. I hope you like getting your ass kicked all over and seeing no other Guardians around for help. Oh but they’ve also capped that at 340. I want to feel rewarded for my time playing. I want cool things to chase and go after. Not grind for grinds sake. That’s not fun.
-
If there was a more interesting grind to 370 wouldn't be an issue.
-
Plz bungo can we have this? Lol
-
3 RepliesYup. Some people just can not move on. If a video game made me as upset as the people here I would.. ....hmmmm...... I dunno MAYBE STOP -blam!-ING PLAYING AND MOVE THE -blam!- ON. Just my 2 cents.

Edited by Konrad: 5/11/2018 2:46:21 PMAt this point it's like trying to negotiate with a mob, nothing you say or do will please the mob because at the end of the day they really just want to fūck you up.
