I miss the Iron Lord relics...
Being able to deflect an enemy super or rocket back at them.
Help others charge their supers fast when yours is full.
Punch an enemy and they become your friend for a short while.
Even once in awhile I go back to D1 and remember just how Destiny was fun enough to keep me going.
D1 had things to make it fun.
D2 doesn't.
D3... we can only hope...

I sexually identify as a glycoprotein ever since I was a little peptide I wanted to attach to the nearest glycolipid and empty my spicy chemical load in to the cytoplasm of the cell. People say that that’s impossible and that I am too thick , but I don’t care I am beautiful. I am having the Golgi apparatus and Rough ER attach carbohydrates to my body. From now on you guys will call me “glyco” and respect my right to diffuse in to the inner membrane. If you can’t accept then you are a cytophobe and need to check your cell identification privilege. Sorry. That would add variety and fun to Destiny 2 which is not in line with our vision for Destiny 2. So we are not going to do that. By the way, you should stop by Ever verse and browse her updated inventory. Sincerely, Bungie

2 RepliesI don't miss the artifacts per se. But I miss the BUILD VARIETY that they represented. That has been stripped out of Destiny 2 in the name of PVP balance and "competitiveness".

In D1 I loved those relics Now that D2 is out I love collecting Axi relics

Only reason the artifacts were there was to give something that should’ve been in the game. I only ever used 1 which was no sprint cool down. I now have that. No artifact needed.

1 ReplyMy fave was the one that let you see your radar even when aiming down the scope. All those relics were so useful and fun to collect.

The relics were certainly a nice addition to Rise of Iron. In fact, Bungie hit a home run with Rise of Iron. Probably one of the best expansions period (TTK too).

I was thinking about this a while ago and I felt the same. It was just a neat way they spiced up the game and encouraged variable gameplay. But obviously they destroy pvp balance and fun so must be dealt with.

Jolder's & Perun's are free perks in D2, & Skorri's was nerfed to uselessness in D1, so Gheleon's is the only one I still care about.

A few weeks ago I booted up D1 and was thoroughly confused during a strike when I saw a dreg with a blue gamertag running around shooting enemies. Completely forgot about those artifacts.
