Really not a fan of the fallen strike on Nessus! The damn boss spends more time disappearing then actually fighting....

Yep, always back out of this one. Makes me feel bad, but it's just awful.
-
I know. It's really dumb. They just make him disappear because if he didn't we would literally cream him in seconds.
-
I don't really have much of an issue with it tbh, and contrary to what I'm reading I rarely (if ever) have anyone back out on it. Unless I don't notice and someone else joins. Admittedly it's not my favourite strike and the boss mechanic could use some work, but it's not terrible by any stretch. If your fireteam works well together it's kinda simple, u just gotta wait him out while he ghosts.

Edited by Darth Newbieous: 1/9/2018 7:14:05 PMI back out of this one, I can’t stand it. Just because of the boss. Now if they added a mechanic like If you kill all the electric shanks while he is gone boss takes xx damage that would have been better. But he just ghosts which is lazy.

I don’t know anyone who wastes there time on this strike. We reload every time. It takes too long to do and obviously the rewards are not worth it.
-
Not to mention, if you're good and melt him before he disappears, you're rewarded with having to fight him again. You're forced to do a whole phase.

Worst. Strike. Ever. I always back out if it loads and I hate the Boss fight with a burning, seething passion.
-
4 RepliesIt's the worst strike in the game other than the Titan strike I'll back out of both every time unless I need to do the nightfall version. Both too long anyway.
-
Bad strikes + no choice = more quitters. Simple.
-
1 ReplyYeah it's supposed to simulate the PvP experience.

1 ReplyYep... Even the Taken strikes from D1 are better!

8 RepliesEdited by gallp13: 1/9/2018 5:07:23 AMHi Christo Happy new year to you. As in all D2 strikes there’s a trick. The idea is to study the fight and then devise tactics and select load out to beat the boss. Going in with out right tactics and wrong gear results in a protracted bullet sponge fight. The strike is fine it’s doesn’t need changing. It’s about working the strike solution out. I suspect that’s the meaning behind You Stop That’s response below 😉👍

A trick you can use is to try to follow the Camo Sparx trail as he jumps onto the walls. A single shot from anything will make him fall off the map and die shorty after. I did it once with Merciless but it was a hell of a fluke.
-
What is weird is that I’ve had strikes where he just pops back in almost instantly after he leaves. Most times he takes a siesta, but now and again, he is a fast ninja.
-
Im not a fan of this strike either, but I think if they just simply reduced the duration of the boss disappearing it would help. He just takes too long to come back.
-
To be honest i dont even do that strike i just re-queue for a different one
-
My least favorite Strike in the game, because of that stupid boss fight.
-
1 ReplyI always back out of the strike when i land in from a strikes playlist, sorry but not sorry to anyone left in it, they can blame bungie for making a shit strike and a shit sequel
-
I used to back out every time, whilst watching the other guardians doing the same.
-
I hate this boss fight. When it is NF with a timer you stand around wondering what to do next while the timer ticks.
-
Nope, whole strike sucks.
-
Hands down the worst strike. Btw that strike was probably rebooted last moment. Over the summer around the time of the beta the description dealt with Siva. Concept art for the strike even showed Siva symbol. Both were removed for release. https://m.imgur.com/gallery/xvWqe http://cdn.gamer-network.net/2017/metabomb/destiny2exoduscrashwalkthroughguidenewimage1time.jpg

That strike is so long and unsatisfying.
-
It is ridiculous especially when it is Nightfall
-
2 RepliesBungee team thinks it’s a great boss for timed activities hahaha

I enjoy the strike until I enter that final room.
