Powerful Gear Dropping same item
For the past 3 weeks all I've gotten from my powerful gear are helmets or gauntlets on all my characters. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Just give up on it. They will never change this particular dynamic. This has been the standard since they stopped providing content. Artificial elongation of gameplay has replaced content and will remain that way as long as people keep paying them.

Bungie does this on purpose to keep players grinding. There is no RNG. Certain slots always lag behind others, like cloaks and Titan marks. Weapons always lag behind armor. If they used RNG then you'd see players with 330+ weapons and low level armor. Never happens. You'd see players with high level Titan marks and low level helmets or gauntlets. Never happens. There is no RNG.

Bungle rng sucks. I have yet to get crimson exotic but have gotten duplicate of many others. Just a rotten RNG system.

Just happened to me as well.2 helmets from 2 powerful gear events when im maxed out on those.Only a sniper rifle was an increase but not on light level.So effectively a flashpoint and a milestone wasted til another week.I believe this is intentional to make you play longer.Strange how there seems to be a trend on this thread where we only need certain items for light level increases and all we acquire is rubbish.I dont use snipers and i dont need 3x 335 helmets either yet that is what drops.Strange? No fixed.If you cannot balance gameplay/grinding and useful rewards then it turns into utter frustration and another game left on the shelf.D2 has lost the majority of its gamers because of the floors,not listening to its players,the lack of "things to do" and the appalling DLC which looks like Minecraft programmed in a shed.I fear the d2 community is now lost,but not on Mercury as its too small to lose yourself anywhere.

Same here I’ve given up all I need is a cloak on my hunter and a chest plate on my Titan and I’m 335 across the board but I keep on getting everything but them

I play as a Hunter. ALL of my equipment is at 335 EXCEPT MY CLOAK. Why? Because for the past FOUR WEEKS my powerful engrams AND raid drops have REFUSED to provide me a cloak. So I'm stuck at 334 for over a month now.

1 ReplySame here! Hunter is on 20 plus consecutive gauntlets from powerful engrams. Exotic and legendary. Titan and warlock at 335. Hunter has been needing a cloak for 4 weeks. No helmet, chest, legs, or cloak from powerful engrams.

I've gotten the Stag 3 times in a row, I'm not complaining since I like the Stag but come on, this can't be RNG.

51 items and counting without chest or legs dropping. There's no way this is RNG. This a done with a purpose in mind; to keep you playing.

I'm so sick of waiting for a chest plate for my titan I deleted my hunter and started a new titan so I can get one from finishing the DLC.. It's about the only reward you get chose what you want.. You should be able to chose a reward once and a while.. But I guess that's not frustrating enough for bungie to allow..

Yup 3 chars stuck at 334 for 3 weeks. My warlock finally got boots but hunter and titan just keep getting snipers and gauntlets. Guess it’s 4 weeks now smh.

Have you been using 3 of coins while turning in Milestones? I for one have.... this came to mind last night After getting 3 Gravitron Forfeit helmets while turning in Milestones.
