Upvote for a Pulse Rifle Buff
Seriously... This needs addressed. They are a mess no matter the archtype. Why do auto rifles outrange them?

I think they are perfect just the way they are and I use pulses exclusively in crucible. Time worn and nightshade destroy. Consistent and powerful.

1 ReplyTime worn spire, agenda 5, lincoln green, nightshade,vigilance wing, etc.. Not to mention 4/5 of these are legendaries. They’re all good. I’ve outgunned prosecutor and uriels gift with these.

3 RepliesOkay, honestly, I thought they needed a buff too, but after utilising the Vigilance Wing and the Time-worn (IB) I can honestly say they are in a good place, I mean, I do use 2 Counter Balance Mods to handle the recoil and stuff, but they seem to work well. Thy could do with slight damage buff, maybe some more range so they out range Auto’s. But they aren’t as bad as people keep saying, just a pain in the ass to get used to as they handle so differently to all the other weapons.

1 ReplyI don’t think it’s a range problem. It’s a bullet spread/recoil problem. They need to tighten them up a bit and get rid of some horizontal recoil. It feels like every pulse has horizontal recoil to both sides which is uncontrollable.

1 ReplyI disagree. You just need to know when to use em. I just won a 3v4 with my team and got 44 kills mainly using the inaugural address. Seriously, if you have this gun, try it out.

2 RepliesThey need a heaping dose of stability to help level the playing field. Autos and Scouts are exactly where they should be, but adding stability to Pulses and aim assist to Handcannons will go a long way towards balancing the game, especially in PvP.

2 RepliesDoesnt need a "buff", per say, as damage is quite good...what they need is the stability fixed. Every pulse is all over the damn place, cant get accuracy with them...

This was exactly how it was at the start of D1. Suros was wrecking in crucible and bungie released data to show that pulse rifles were the most under used gun in destiny. That was the start of the nerfing and buffing of guns which often created more problems than it solved. They sometimes got it right but more often than not they didn't. Lost count of the 'weapon tweaks'. Pulse rifles are crap right now as are slow firing scout rifles but I would rather leave it that way for now. For me there are much bigger issues with this game right now.

Umm yeah, they take a spot on my guardians because if one isn't there, I will keep getting them in drops and engrams - most of them are pretty much useless in PvE, wouldn't even bother in PvP with these things.

Pulses are in a pretty good spot but it could probably us a little buff. But there should be some testing before a conclusion is made.

1 ReplyTry the Swift Ride in the energy slot. With some practice it can reliably 3 burst kill. I shred plenty of Uriels and Midas with it. It's very rewarding to use.

3 RepliesJust need more options not a buff! Nightshade is ok, the V Wing is ok, Lincoln Green is ok and the IB pulse is very good at the correct range! Just need a few more with better perks I think not a whole sale buff at this stage! :)
