For those who don't know, Zavala absolutely despises Shaxx's Crucible. He says it to be an absolute waste of valuable resources and equipment. However, I have one theory for the real reason why Zavala hates the Crucible:
He can't get good.
Well, I still haven't done Crucible for powered gear for the week. 9 games later... Shaxx gives me 2 snipers... which was what I got last week. "What's wrong guardian?" Shaxx asks. "No. Nothing Shaxx. Um, thank you." -....- Not gonna pick a fight with somene that punches the enemy instead of using a gun.
-
Personally,I don't like Shaxx too much either. He always saying "You scared of the crucible?" and I turn to him and go "-blam!-er,did you not see me 60 seconds ago capturing points?" But,honestly how Shaxx talks..I think Zavala knows he gets off to seeing people kill each other.
-
He probably never went flawless in year one or keeps getting team shot by mida
-
Maybe the real reason is that he knows it a breeding ground for idiots & elitists and is a complete waste of time and I would have to agree you don't win a war inside the walls of a training ground or earn any honour what so ever
-
He knows how terrible it is!
-
2 RepliesZavala and shaxx are such boring and undeveloped characters that I'm genuinely surprised there's actually lore about them
-
No, it's because Zavala knows how cancerous it is.
-
3 RepliesAs a Titan I agree, zavala is a bit of a bitch. Big heart but little action and strength from a commander that leads brutes and jar heads.

5 RepliesEdited by AdligerAdler: 10/1/2017 8:38:02 AMHis name is Vuvuzela.

9 RepliesACKHUALLY He was scared by Ikora. Even cayde was. Ikora too op pls nerf
-
3 RepliesZavala likes 6v6 and the ability to choose the game mode.
-
He probably encountered Ikora on the opposite team, and she was a legend in the Crucible with that Invective shotgun.

Zavala and Shaxx traded punches and Shaxx let Zavala go first but Shaxx still won so now Zavala despises the crucible.
-
I agree. The dude can only beat untrained mobs

5 RepliesIf you read the MIDA Multi-Tool's D2 Description, it shows a conversation of Shaxx and Zavala about how Zavala was super upset about the Crucible's nerf to SUROS (probably meaning the Regime) and how he will NOT undo those nerfs.
Zavala — A waste of time, as always. I won't confiscate the Red Death engrams, I won't roll back the SUROS Crucible firmware to its “original” (preposterously inflated) state. And I won't conduct any more “forensic inquiries” like this!
Zavala is just a salty Year 1 Auto Rifle user.

1 ReplyCrucible =\= getting good. Sorry but no a braindead giraffe could prevail in crucible
-
4 RepliesFighting other Guardians isn't like fighting actual enemies, but they do need to be trained, obviously. I don't really see Zavala doing any actual training. None of the Vanguard seem to be doing any training for combat. I think the Crucible is a great idea. It could be better, but Guardians need to learn how to be as OP as they potentially can be though. Like, you can't go at everything like some mook human soldier when you're godlike in a way.

1 ReplyHe doesn’t own a MIDA.

6 Replieslol nice typo idiot learn english its 'git gud'

1 ReplyHey, say what you want about Zavala... but when he's right, he's right.
