Im sure there are better guns out there than what I have, but "ve tried a dozen or so guns and it just feels like the TTK is too long. Almost everything feels like it has the TTK of a Destiny 1 autorifle. Scout rifle battles are ridiculous and spammy. Most pulses feel like garbage. Haven't come across a handcannon that feels as dominant and rewarding to use as a Palindrome or Eysaluna or even the crappier D1 handcannons. Auto Rifles may be better in Destiny 2, but I prefer to use precision weapons.
As for the new power weapon change I'm on the fence. I think Bungie took the easy way out. Instead of properly balancing what used to be Special Weapons they just made the funnest weapons to use less........fun because you cant use them as often. Snipers, shotties and fusions made Destiny pvp more fun than Destiny 2's. Only being able to use them a couple times a game is kind of a drag. I hope that for Trials or whatever competitive mode they make that they will reconsider use of "Special Weapons".
Anybody else feel like gun battles take too long?

I find my autos. And in fact energy weapons deal like 13 damage. My melee takes 2-3 uses to kill an enemy. Only weapon I can get a kill with sometimes is my rocket launcher. Which I have to get from the wall. I like that though. It stops people running round with a rocket or a something that 1 hits you. I also find people using hand cannons wipe me out even if I hit them first and aim for head ;/ can't stand scouts in PvP. Too slow and everyone I go against uses autos whenever I have a scout. I have sweet business but have never got a PvP kill with it. I use auto in both slots and a rocket in third. 279 warlock. I swear some level 15 killed me in one hit with a dam sidearm earlier -_- all before I even got a hit on him. I don't like PvP tbh. I'm more a pve kinda guy. I prefer solo Too, tbh. But gimme a team and I'll do my best. I hate those ones where you're given skills, press certain buttons. I try to avoid teaming with people in those cause at some point I get kicked because they're all dealing 1k damage a hit. And I'm there dealing 100 a hit. Even though I am good solo. They kick me:L I prefer d2 in that no one can kick you from a PvP if you're shit ;) stops being people so serious and whiney. Wish people would use Mic though. I don't use Mic in PvP unless someone else is so I'm no I'm talking talking to myself ;) but no one ever uses Mic. No in public match making. I see people join voice channel but they never speak:/ meh.

Just want to add, but battlefield has only 2 weapons and a special that is limited too and COD. Not too mention Battlefront, yet they are hugely fun, this is the same. Always problems and complaints. This D2 PVP is great compared to D1 which was dominated by Snipers and Shotguns, other weapons felt useless against them, so they shacked the foundation and behold, more balance, every weapons gets you kills if used correctly and combined with others. Just too early to complain so much without combining weapons to your play style. Every weapon to me is affective, got 5.8 to 6.6 Kill death ratio with average Dead Orbit scout, play the weapons advantages.Subs and side arms great for close encounters, assaults like Uriel eat mida. Aim for the head at all times.. Lol.

Disagree, Nightshade TTK is awesome so is the exotic Pulse. Just aim for the head it works wonders. Lol. I find PVP more balanced and fair now more than D1 ,more challenging and tactical... Equals more fun. Even trials are fun now and fair. Team work required for Trials though. Well also quick add, Uriel, Origin story, better devils, mida mini, the last dance or hope, etc all great counters to Mida. Even a well placed rocket gets the Mida and swords, oh the swords.. Even Hawkthorne amazing.

6 RepliesYes I remember playing aggressive with my shotty and no back up plans and sometimes a sniper to just pick of aggressive players.I felt so great as an aggressive player. Now I'm forced to play more slow with a scout rifle and usually die because I still play aggressive at times which gets me destroyed because team shooting, Lack of power when fighting multiple people, and radar range being so big it's like impossible to be sneaky to get to other players. Don't get it twisted I LOVE THIS GAME just not the pvp

4 RepliesI am a Titan and using a solar sticky grenade. while in the Crucible I have over a dozen times thrown the grenade that sticks to the oppenents face, however nothing happens, and it often only sets myself up to get killed. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Learning how to throw the grenade has no rewards, and does NOT have any effect on the opponent player in the Crucible. If this defect continues, I will soon stop playing D2.

4 RepliesDestiny 1. Palindrome 0.88 time to kill. Water star 0.80 time to kill. Both 3 headshots. Fastest destiny 2 handcannon. Sturm. 3 headshots. 1.07 time to kill. All others need 4 headshots. Or 2 head and 2 bodyshots.

3 RepliesThey increased the TTK and mde crucible a team killing camp fest while you wait for heavy spawns every 1.5 mins to throw a few rockets. Grenades/ melees are useless and you get 1 super per game. So you've basically got a subpar vanilla type weapon shootout where you can headshot someone 8 times with an auto and they can run away. D2 pvp is basically run with your team, team kill things, if you take a hit your gonna survive because of the high TTK then you run back to your team and wait to recovery. Wait for heavy spawns, shoot rockets. Use your 1 super per game (best moment) Be proud of your over inflated efficiency stat because assists count as kills, because bungie is going down the casual friendly everyones a winner route.
