Would you rob from the rich to give to the poor
Sounds good huh. But morally wrong. But good hearted intent. Here's the thing. At church I see so many people dropping money but yet these people probably wouldn't help someone in desperate need yet the pastor drives a Mercedes and Audi and lives in a gated community . I'm really in a mess. I mentioned my marriage sucks it's because she believes all this. I have issues with it. And as little as it sounds it's big because it creates so many other issues . Very complicated

Except you shouldn't tithe bc God needs your money (he doesn't) the act of tithing is trusting God with your finances saying that you trust that he will be your provider not yourself. You aren't giving God anything he wants or needs when you tithe other than your trust. Its very hard for us to let go of money when it literally decides how we live our lives and to freely trust your money with God you are trusting him to take care of you.

Doesn't sound like a church truly representing God or Jesus's teaching. Rather people making money off the general ideas of the Bible teaches.

That depends on why the rich and the poor are the way they are. If the rich obtain their money from honest methods, no. If the rich obtain their money from drugs or other illegal methods, yes. If the poor became that way because of their own stupidity, no. If the poor became that way because of a situation out of their control, yes.

I give what money I have when I see someone who needs it, because tbh i'd just spend it on something unnecessary (food n shit,) but I'll never steal from the rich to give to the poor. Sure you have a good intention, but actions matter too. What if that rich dude gives to the poor as well? Idk man, stealing isn't really the way to go, but I get the point
