"What the hell is this place?"
Shae asked, switching on her helmet lights.
The shadows were stronger here, as if they were alive,

"Dark Facility." Nate sent a fireball forwards several feet, illuminating the area in front of them
-
There was nothing but more darkness ahead of them. Shae coughed, her heartbeat increasing drastically according to his HUD information. "I don't feel so well, sir."
-
"What happened? Is the air?" Nate asked, looking at Angel, fearful
-
"I-it's that shadow, sir. I feel like it's attacking me." Her voice was strained.
-
"Angel?" Nate asked, turning to her and wrapping his right arm around her shoulder, helping her walk "You'll be okay. What can I do?"
-
She shuddered, then tried to push him away. "I'm f-fine."
-
"You're obviously not, Angel. Just let me help you, dammit." Nate said, struggling to help her
-
"Don't think that's possible, sir." She groaned.
-
"There's nothing on you, doesn't look like anything breached your armour. Must be something with your body."
-
"Maybe... It's just this darkness. I feel like it's trying to attack me." She took another breath and sighed. "It feels horrible."
-
"It must be the darkness then... Trying to get through to you. But why not me?"
-
"I'd... Rather not talk about it. Let's just find Cannon and get out before my defenses collapse, alright?" She started to walk.
-
"Yeah, I'm right by your side Angel." He released his hand, allowing her to walk as he sped up slightly
-
"... That you, sir. That means a lot to me." She blushed slightly under her helmet, annoyed at the fact she had to adress him as an officer.
-
"Are you always so formal, Pilot? We're comrades. And what did I say when I introduced myself to the crew? Call me Nate, Nathaniel, Nathan. Whatever you wish." Nate said, walking forward
-
Shae smiled slightlybeneath her helm. "Yes sir, Captain Nathaniel, sir. Right away, sir." She gave a joking overly dramatic salute. "Wow, already on first name basis. What's next a date?" She added teasingly.
-
"Haha, hilarious Angel. Truly." Nate gave a fake laugh as he walked along down the hallway
-
"Just being the lovable pilot I am, boss." She replied, chuckling.
-
"Damn this place is huge." Nathaniel said, changing the topic
-
"Yeah... I mean, we knew there were caverns beneath the city, but not nearly this large." Shae agreed. Up ahead, they heard voices.
-
"You hear that?" Nate slowed down slightly, turning to a more stealthy approach "Go quiet until we can confirm its Cannon."
-
Shae nodded and switched off her light, creeping alongside Nate towards the voices. As they approached, they could make out Cannon's voice alongside two others.
-
"Who the hell is he talking to?" Nate whispered to Angel as they went along
-
"Kyr'tsad. Stay low." She said, inching closer. Sure enough, Cannon was on his knees minus his helmet and gauntlets with two Mandalorians in silver and blue armor circling him. Both of the Mandos had the Deathwatch logo on their shoulders.
-
"Suggestions, Angel?" Nate asked, coming to a stop and watching the Death Watch members for a moment
