Destiny 2 is beginning to lose hype

It seems to me when talking to people outside from people still playing D1, they are loosing that desire to play. The announcement of the beta seemed too far out. They hype was built but the delivery lets the hype slip. Bungie should have stuck to the 7th thing they love to do. 10 days may not seem like much of a difference but, when we have known about it for a while. 10 days becomes 10 more days of loosing hype, desire, and excitement. As for the extra day on Playstation I don't care. I will add that exclusives are dumb. I think if you pay the same price for a game I should get the same amount of game. Extra strike missions on another platform is going to far.

  • Personally I blame all the doom and gloom everyone is bringing to forums ever since the reveal. I mean, there are things that worry me as well surely, but it seems like every day there are hundreds of topics about : "This streamer said this thing and this is why we should be worried" "This is why destiny 2 will be bad" "Lol Destiny 1.5" and so on and so forth with those topics getting 100+ upvotes and trending. Meanwhile, anything remotely positive to say about it get slammed hard and buried under all the negativity, with the OP's being called shills, naive, stupid, desticles, etc. I am not saying that we should sing praise unto Bungie just for giving us D2, but I think people taking a complete shit on when all we have seen (and if the beta is the same as e3/reveal all we will see until release) is a segmented story mission, a strike, and one mode of PVP. If you are hyped and think it is worth the money, go ahead and get it, because that is probably not going to change. If you aren't sure, wait for reviews, or rent/borrow the game (FYI Redbox is only $3 a day, and you can get a gamefly trial for a month, and if you like the game you can keep it at a reduced price). If you just don't think it you will like or hate it now, I still think you should wait to see everything (through videos or other means) , and if you still don't like what you are seeing then hopefully (and I mean this sincerely) you can find another game that you love. Games are meant to entertain and bring joy and if they aren't doing that you might as well not be playing them.
