Funny raid myths that community Created
Its kinda funny to see, even at this point on the lifespam of the game, ppl still believe in "hidden mechanics".
I didnt made this post to offend ppl, just feel free to post some of the funniest thing that you heard while raiding.
Im glad to see the amount of stories you all guys have to tell, I cant prevent to crack a smile on some of them,, its rly funny the amount of superstition that ppl have created on a game... hurrah for that cause it keeps it interesting.
Btw sorry for my English, I know it sucks, but I try my best, keep the good stories comming

Sacrificing an exotic in the name of the sun will give you luck in defeating the raid boss and you will get better loot. The better the exotic, the more of an increase you get.

One, this squeaker, wasn't doing well: unnecessarily talking, causing wipes, not listening, etc. Everyone was getting frustrated with him. We get to Deathsinger, when Ir Yut begins her liturgy. Suddenly, squeaker squeaks "Oh my god, guys, I've got the Liturgy of Ruin brand! What do I do?" Without any hesitation, my friend quips "Dude, quick! You've got to go to Orbit or we all die!" "Alright, going now!" [A player has left your fireteam.] Applause all round.

The leader and two others insisted that you are only allowed one use of the chalice. Since it was my first run of challenge mode, I believed them. So I just used Red Death to keep myself sustained while the other nimrods fumble -blam!-ed dying over and over. We didn't get it done, so I found a new group and they told me that the chalice part was bs. Got it done in two tries.

5 RepliesOh boy, I've come across a few good ones. -Leave the Sprit bloom chest for better exotic chances is probably the most common I've heard -Gorgons will hear you if you're talking in game / party chat (Seriously heard this in multiple LFG groups) -Waving at Crota from behind the glass gave you extra Crota down time with the sword -Staying after a raid completion until you are removed from the game world gives you an extra roll -Wearing any combination of shaders affected your chances of receiving Crux from Crota Probably some more, I'll come back if I remember.

Don't pick up the spirit bloom chest in vog.. it decreases your chance on the exotic chest.. oh god. shut up! Don't open the exotic chest until everyone is here. It increases your chance to get an exotic. God!! Do these adults really believe these rumors they hear from kinderguardians?.. Where is your data that 6 ppl by a chest increases the RNG in your favor? Nowhere!!

7 RepliesI remember that there was a myth for legendary engrams back in year 1. If you bought all of the speaker's legendary emblems it would increase the drop rate for legendary engrams. Myth 2: in the shadow thief strike, (if you're quick enough) right after you and Taniks teleport to the ship you can damage him before he teleports again. Myth 3: Having a low light level will increase the drop rate for the Longbow and the Ldr back in year 2. My personal myth: if you have a crucible or vanguard package and you want the Ldr and Longbow. Inspect the weapon package and put the white circle on the sniper rifle then press R2 L2 X ( for PS4) And you should get one. If you inspect my Titan he has a 390 Longbow and a 385 Ldr while my hunter has a 387 Longbow.
