You do realize the state of the crucible right now is because trials players have been crying for the last three years. Special ammo, Skorri's, Supers, Primaries, Grenades, etc. Every time a trials player spams the forums about how "Unfair" an item/super/ability/weapon is and that thing gets Nerfed, the [i]ENTIRE[/i] crucible suffers for it. I say reset everything to Y1 and I'll sit back and laugh as you all lose your ever loving minds.

Jesus christ, the comments on this thread is absolutely mind numbing. Some people just don't get it I guess. Everyone says, no use a primary. Do they not comprehend that some specials work around the lose of special ammo on death and those weapons perform better than primaries do ?!?!?!?! This forum is full of some of the most unintelligent people I've ever seen in my life.

Why not use an Icebreaker yourself?

Here has been my experience in PvP since the nerf to special ammo.. heck, since the Sandbox update that came with AoT. - Ice Breaker - No Land Beyond - Wormwood - Palindrome - MiDA Multi tool - Metric Ass load of stickies, skips and Axion No wonder why Bungie keeps nerfing handcannons.. they literally have given Palindrome a "Gawd Roll" every single time it gets reset. Was "Gawd roll" through RoI and it still is. If you want people to use different guns.. stop making Palindrome so damn good. No special ammo means Ice Breaker and Sidearms.. (no shit) This game has boiled down to 1 or 2 different play styles. 1. Hard scope every corner with Ice Breaker and use Palindrome. Hard scope with NLB and use Wormwood. 2. Spam as many nades as possible and 1 tap people with Palindrome/ just run around and sticky people. Me personally. - astronomical amounts of lag - my guns don't dmg people, or they don't take any damage, they kill me, then their health bar magically drops to like 10% - shot through walls. - killed around corners when they is no possible way I could've been hit. - breaking up teams to find better match only to be thrown into a game half done,getting pub stomped with no chance in hell of even catching up in the slightest. Someone said that Destiny has 700,000 active uses online per day.. they sure as hell ain't in PvP. Or Destiny must have 80% of its player base in Europe and Spain because that is pretty much the only people I ever get matched with. You mean to tell me there is nobody in the US/Canada or even South America I can match with?

OK , we NEED special ammo back . Trials : trials isn't fun . If you are not using an icebreaker or sidearm you're at a disadvantage . I've seen teams wait 30 seconds in spawn just for special . This makes it extremely passive but it is understandable as people like to have fun with their snipers and shottys etc. The game is more fun with special. There's no real opportunity to "make plays' , shut down revives , shut down supers . This makes certain roaming supers very strong . Trials is also an ability fest . Almost every team will either have someone using sticks. This negates the intended primary play. This game and all game modes were clearly designed with special ammo in mind . They don't flow well without special . General pvp: I don't like the changes (surprisingly :ooo) It just isn't as fun. If you force a primary meta , make primaries good . That's how you force a primary meta , not by removing special and making the game less enjoyable. If you are in a 1v1 and they have shotgun ammo and you don't . You have no chance of winning . Leading to people playing very passively so they keep their ammo.

Honestly if you can't collect special, you need to take up a different game. Perhaps Little Big Planet is more your speed.

Stay out of sniping lanes, flank them, stick them while they're hard scoped.

What was the point? People using their special as a primary the entire match. Easy to do given the number of items that grant extra ammo and the frequent ammo spawns. The reason people did this: Special weapons (other than sidearms) are relatively overpowered compared to primary, if you use them well (snipers require patience and precision; shotguns take a lot of movement skills; fusion rifles take timing and prediction. All except sidearms can be reliable one hit kills, unlike any primary. Nerfing specials' power was not desirable. Cutting down the ammo supply was seen as the way to go. I'm not saying my solution would have been to change special ammo in the way it was, but I haven't had a problem with it. (Granted, I don't play trials and I can't be bothered to find out how special ammo works there.) I've never had to wait long for special to spawn, and if I have- so what? [b]I have a primary weapon.[/b]

This is definitely the most stale meta. They should have kept shotguns and clever dragon the same and buffed primaries to be able to compete with them. Shotguns clever dragon would then have counters and we could still use secondaries other than icebreaker and sidearms in trials.

Yeah, remember in year 1 when you could have at least 20 sniper shots? Back when the Crucible was fun? Wish the game was still that good. I hope Destiny 2 learns from this...... but I'm not holding my breath.

How bout we take away these loopholes. Force people to learn

I hate to say it, but the universal remote jug meta in late y2 was the most fun time playing destiny for me

It's a great idea in theory. I like that people have to rely on their primaries a lot more. But they need to address the problem with guns like Ice Breaker.
