You know what? I'm gonna say it. Kings fall has the worst weapons out of all raids.
Cocoon is trash. All the weapons have laughably bad stats, not to mention the life leach perk. Stability and reload speed is a problem with all of the primaries. Shotgun has no range. Rocket Launcher blows. Everyone has their own opinion, but stats don't lie.

Conclusion: Yes, Kings Fall weapons are overall the worst in the game, however the Crota's End weapons are seriously overrated and basically on par with them yet nobody says a thing about them.[/quote]

Special weapons were awesome including BLACK HAMMER. Hunger of crota is still the best legendary RL I've seen in the game. Kings fall... oh man did that loot suck. My 3 raids a week routine was strangled, shot, tied to rock and thrown overboard when they removed end game tier loot.

Definitions of good and bad weapons are always subjective. One might find Vision of Confluence to suit their playstyle, but someone else might find Doom of Chelchis to fit better.

1 ReplyCocoon is not trash, but it is very specific. At the ogres, (if you are in the middle) alternate swapping from Yasmin to Quillums , can help you drop each one, without ever having to reload either weapon.

I disagree. Being able to unload a clip, switch weapons and then run to cover and switching back to a fully loaded weapon is super useful. It really fits my play style. I can't even tell you how many times I've been caught on the reload when not using a KF weapon.

That's about right....although, why the hell is fang the lowest scout? Thing is awesome...and smite with firefly is probably the best pulse of the four. Also light of the abyss with accelerated coils was a monster in crucible at a time when they were just getting nerfed. I want to see what that thing is like nowadays (although, did finally get a praetorian foil and that is pretty sweet)

Well the Crota shotgun is good but most just for that raid. It can annihilate the knights at the Crota fight.

Bonus reload speed, fire off 4 rockets after that reload. And bonus fallen damage. The other rocket launchers are highly average. Shoot 2, it has tracking but who cared as long as you can aim...

I agree that KF has the most lackluster weapons, but Cocoon is not trash on special and heavy. I have some problems with your list, my corrections below (for PvE): Vision of Confluence > Doom of Chelchis > Chaos Dogma > Fang of Ir Yut Genesis Chain > Abyss Defiant > Atheon's Epilogue > Anguish of Drystan Steel Medulla > Smite of Merain w/Firefly > Oversoul Edict > Praedyth's Timepiece Ex Machina (Spray and Play with Wait For It is just to useful) > Black Hammer/Spindle (because in Y2/Y3 must be exotic) > Defiance of Yasmin > Praedyths Revenge Hunger of Crota > Elulim's Frenzy > Hezen Vengeance (no tracking or proximity is just terrible) > Sound & Fury
