I have been a fan of Bungie games since Marathon. Bought and loved every single title. I followed them from Mac to Xbox with Halo. I bought Destiny and all its DLC. But with each timed PS4 exclusive got a little more the feeling that I was a second class citizen of the game. Now with the official announcement for Destiny 2 we hear that the beta with initially be PS4 exclusive as well so they mean to continue this into the next chapter. Given that Xbox players still don't have access to all the content from Rise of Iron this hit especially low. I can't on principle keep paying the same cost for less content simply because of my chosen platform. Thank you so much for some of the best gaming experiences I've had. Please before posting anything anti-Xbox/PS4 understand this is my personal feeling that I just wanted to express to Bungie about exclusivity having a really negative effect on my experience. I own both systems but prefer the Xbox controller, especially for shooter. This isn't about one system versus the other. If you disagree with me that's fine and post that but there's no reason to take what I said personally or insult me. To everyone telling me to Google the PS4 exclusivity I was fully aware the initial release would have timed PS4 exclusive content and accepted this. It became more difficult to accept with every additional DLC however. This post is about Destiny 2 and the fact that this time I'll be passing on the game to express my disappointment this practice looks to continue. I know this is the nature of the games industry but that doesn't mean I have to accept it and this is how I express that. UPDATE: Just wanted correct something in my post. There is no mention in the official trailer of specific platforms getting beta access earlier than others so I apologies for spreading what appears to be incorrect information. That said my position on platform exclusive content hasn't really changed.
