vex April update theory
if year one raids return the vex have to be involved somehow, because the final vog boss died in all timelines they would summon something or someone similar from another timeline to replace times conflux, as for crota I beleve he could return via the vex summoning his body for the splicers to experiment on, I beleve the vex wish to purge the splicers becuse they fear siva may corrupt them like the taken.
evidence: the strange round thing in the Sparrow racing map which is seen everywhere vex related, the fact that the vex needed the restorative mind to summon the nexus from another time and now they don't proves they gained power, the fact that the stranger is described as being in all timelines by praydtiths ghost.

Pls read PRAEDYTHS DOOR grimoire card located under allies, legends and mysteries you will find that he's waiting for us to free him but we never did!
