Do you think the exotic pulse rifle no time to explain should count as a raid exotic. Think about it. The touch of malice and outbreak prime both have KF or wotm as one part of the quest, and I suppose necrochasm sort of had a quest. NTTE'S quest requires you to do the vault of glass just like the other exotic raid exotics. But for some reason it doesn't count as a raid exotic. What do you think?
-
I would count it but Vex Burnoclast has that crown I'm afraid
-
4 RepliesWell, you have to kill a raid boss for it so it kinda is.
-
1 ReplyThe VoG exotic was Vex Mythoclast (mythoclast means "myth killer" or so and the vex names were based off mythical creatures and either Greek or Latin names so that's neat) which could have been made by Kabr (fireteam member that wasn't erased by gorgons because pahanin(other member) created SGA(gun with AI to prevent erasing the fireteam)) due to it being "ergonomic for human hands". NTTE was everyone wanting an updated Stranger's Rifle. That's it.
-
Nope NTTE's lore is not based on a raid.
-
It's a year 2 weapon that included completing an "obsolete" year 1 raid as one of the steps. I'd hardly call that a raid weapon.
-
Because you don't get it from a raid? Is this a real question or are you trolling?
-
8 RepliesYou're all -blam!-ing idiots. Defense and damage is capped in VoG. It's just easy because our weapons are amazing and we all know what we're doing
-
4 RepliesBecause we already killed atheon before. The reason this is lore friendly is because vex can and did play with the timeline to act like atheon wasn't dead even though he was.
-
It was sort of supposed to be the raid weapon on KF nm.
-
2 RepliesThe VoG raid exotic weapon is called Vex Mythoclast.
-
1 ReplyVex Mythoclast - VoG Necrochasm - Crota Touch of Malice - KF Outbreak Prime - Wrath
Queenbreakers bow, Lord of wolves, dregs promise. All from Skolas.
Vexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxmythoclyst vog raid exotic
-
It was a failed attempt to revamp VoG.
-
18 RepliesAtheon was already dead... The vault wasn't updated It originated from story missions Was a poorly thought out step, of what was already a pretty "epic" quest chain... Should've been handled slightly differently, but yes, it is a raid weapon
-
No dear
-
I'm more interested on how you get the weapon and the implications from the quest over if it is a Raid Weapon or not.
-
Not really as the whole point of the vex was the vogs reward

Edited by Goldship: 1/21/2017 12:11:53 AMTechnically yes but it's a quest exotic not a raid exotic since you can't get it without the quest Therefore it's a raid related quest exotic Edit: technically all but vex mytho had a quest but ntte had very little to do with the raid
-
1 ReplyNo, its special but not really. Its not like you struggled to play through the VoG again in Year 2. I remember taking him out in 45 seconds.
-
How do you get it again?
-
no it's a year two weapon
-
Nope. Lol not even close
-
Does it really matter one way or the other? Aside from the ToM that distinction really means nothing.
-
2 RepliesI mean, Technically. You do have to defeat Atheon to obtain it. But, the thing is, since Atheon was never brought up to the current light level, everyone was largely over leveled, making the raid not very hard. The most difficult thing was actually finding a group to do the raid.
