No. don't buy preebuilt. Save up and build a PC. It's easy and cheaper and lets you choose what you get. At this time if you have a budget of 600 get a 1050ti for the GPU and If you can spend a bit more get a 1060. Then save for a 1080, just skip 1070.

As someone who's built multiple pc's, don't buy it, save up and build your own if you really want

Don't buy, save up get a new one that comes with a factory warranty, second hand pc's are not bad but generally people only replace them when there outdated or can no longer get parts, plus if it's your first get one new cause shit does happen ( faulty parts ) and its peace of mind as most parts have a 2-3 year warranty

Gpu is old as hell, I'm assuming it also has a first generation i5. It will be fine with a gpu upgrade, but you can honestly probably find a better deal.

Edited by Ghost of Reach: 12/28/2016 5:40:12 PMDo you know the exact name of the CPU? It's important as not every quad core is the same. Like someone else pointed out, the GPU is old, will struggle running most newer games. What kind of games are you planning to play. Also, I wouldn't rush in to a purchase, I research for almost a whole year before I bought and built my PC (I wanted to be sure). I know your buying a prebuilt, not everyone has time to build it themselves. Im not saying you have to do that, but if you buy this in a hurry, and it doesn't run games like you want to, you're screwed. Edit: Since this is your first time, I would definitely wait, research a bit, and figure how much you are willing to spend. You might regret it later if you don't

Gpu is slightly old, and brand of cpu is important. Amd is crap

5 RepliesI don't know how much a brand new gaming PC costs in Oz unfortunately. Specs are good enough for modern games, you might find yourself needing to upgrade in a year or two though to handle new releases. Personally I'd do it just for the OS. High end rigs only come with 10 nowadays in the U.K. but I can't stand anything after 7.
